Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and motivated Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, demonstrating product features, and assisting customers in making informed purchasing decisions. This role requires strong communication skills, familiarity with retail sales processes, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve our diverse customer base. The Sales Associate will play a key role in maintaining an organized sales floor, managing stock, and ensuring an engaging shopping experience for all customers.Responsibilities<ul><li>Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries and selections</li><li>Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges</li><li>Conduct product demos to highlight features and benefits to customers</li><li>Upsell related products to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction</li><li>Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked appropriately</li><li>Manage inventory levels through stocking and organizing merchandise</li><li>Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties</li><li>Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and resolving issues promptly</li><li>Assist with store cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of the sales floor</li><li>Support supervising staff during busy periods or when needed</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures</li><li>Strong communication skills and phone etiquette for engaging with customers effectively</li><li>Ability to perform retail math calculations accurately for transactions and inventory management</li><li>Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demos is a plus</li><li>Bilingual skills are advantageous for serving a diverse clientele</li><li>Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly attitude</li><li>Basic math skills necessary for handling cash and sales calculations</li><li>Supervising experience is beneficial but not mandatory; leadership qualities are appreciated</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail</li></ul>Job Types: Part-time, SeasonalPay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Work Location: In person
