Position Title: Electrical &amp; Instrumentation DesignerDescriptionThis position in On-Site at PerigonThe ideal candidate will have experience in an engineering firm environment and a background in industrial (chemicals and manufacturing) plant design. The candidate will have proficiency with electrical and instrumentation design and drafting (e.g., industrial power distribution, MCC&rsquo;s, lighting, fire alarm, grounding, motors/drives, instrumentation and controls in industrial plant environments.Responsibilities<ul><li>Development of Single Line Diagrams, MCC layouts, Power Plans, Grounding Plans, Lighting Plans, Cable Tray Design and Layout, Heat Tracing, Hazardous Classification Plans, Control Schematics, Interconnection Diagrams, I/O Diagrams, PLC/ Control Panel Drawings, and Conduit/Wire Schedules.</li><li>Field work to verify existing conditions.</li><li>Perform lighting, conductor sizing and voltage drop calculations.</li><li>Work will be performed under the supervision of a Professional Engineer.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Minimum 1 year of relevant design experience of chemical and manufacturing plant projects including installation methods and materials of construction.</li><li>Working knowledge the National Electrical Code (NEC).</li><li>Proficiency with AutoCAD is essential.
