<h2 class="jobSectionHeader">What you can expect as an Internal Communications Coordinator
</h2>Are you a creative storyteller with a passion for building community? At Perkins, we believe that an informed and connected workforce is the heartbeat of a great culture. We are looking for an Internal Communications Coordinator to help us bridge the gap between our mission and our people.
You&rsquo;ll be the primary engine behind the day-to-day communications that keep the Perkins workforce informed and engaged. This is a role for a &quot;doer&quot; who can jump from drafting a sensitive organizational announcement to coordinating a high-energy staff event without missing a beat.

</h2>Content Creation &amp; Digital Management
<ul><li>Draft and edit high-quality content for the Perkins Pulse intranet (WordPress), our monthly People Operations newsletter, and daily announcements.
</li><li>Keep our intranet and communication boards fresh, organized, and easy to navigate.
</li><li>Use your creative expertise in Canva or AdobeSuite to shape powerful narratives and bring our stories to life
</li><li>Ensure every piece of content is inclusive, meeting Perkins&rsquo; high standards for alt-text and accessible formatting.
</li></ul>Events &amp; Recognition
<ul><li>Provide hands-on logistical support for major staff events like Winterfest, Summer Socials, and appreciation days.
</li><li>Assist with technical setup and presentation decks for quarterly in person Town Halls and monthly Perkins Pulse virtual meetings.
</li><li>Manage the daily workflows for employee awards and milestones via Awardco, ensuring our team&rsquo;s hard work never goes unnoticed.
</li></ul>Branding &amp; Insights
<ul><li>Conduct interviews with staff to create &quot;day-in-the-life&quot; features for internal and external branding.
</li><li>Help manage our employer brand on platforms like Glassdoor, Indeed, and LinkedIn.
</li><li>Track and compile monthly analytics (open rates, engagement) to help us refine our strategy.
</li></ul>Education/Experience:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Communications, English, Marketing, or a related field.
</li><li>1&ndash;3 years in communications, marketing, or HR. (experience in a non-profit or corporate setting is a big plus!)
</li><li>Proven experience with WordPress (or similar CMS), Google Workspace, and design tools like Canva or similar.
</li><li>Exceptional proofreading skills and a careful focus on accuracy and formatting.
</li><li>A commitment to learning and applying digital accessibility best practices to foster an inclusive workplace. 
</li></ul>The following shared salary range is what Perkins reasonably expects, in good faith, to pay for the position. The applicable range could differ based on experience and qualification.
$48,900.00-$69,075.00
