Overview: 
Pernix International is hiring a Mechanical Engineer experienced in HVAC and plumbing systems. The role involves design review, quantity take-offs, vendor engagement, and technical submittals for MEP systems in global projects.
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Review mechanical (HVAC/plumbing) designs and prepare BOQs and takeoffs.</li>
<li>Manage RFQs and procurement for mechanical packages.</li>
<li>Coordinate with suppliers for ductwork, piping, chillers, pumps, valves, and fixtures.</li>
<li>Handle technical submittals and material approvals.</li>
<li>Ensure system designs comply with US (CSI), EU/BS, and relevant standards.</li>
<li>Interface with MEP design consultants and site teams for integration.</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical Engineering.</li>
<li>5&ndash;10 years of experience with HVAC and plumbing systems.</li>
<li>Understanding of mechanical standards and specifications.</li>
<li>Strong AutoCAD and Excel skills.</li>
<li>Fluent in English; proactive, resourceful, and collaborative.</li>

Responsibilities:

<li>Issue RFQs to global vendors; evaluate offers and support commercial decisions.</li>
<li>Coordinate procurement and submittals for structural packages (e.g., steel works).</li>
<li>Ensure project documentation complies with international standards (US/CSI, EU/BS).</li>
<li>Liaise with engineering and construction teams to align design and procurement.</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.</li>
<li>5&ndash;10 years of experience in similar roles.</li>
<li>Knowledge of international codes and practices.</li>
<li>Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel, Word).</li>
<li>Fluent in English. Organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable.</li>
