<div>Role Purpose
The Portfolio &amp; Marketing Intelligence Manager drives the analytical and governance backbone of portfolio and marketing decision-making. The role owns portfolio performance monitoring, marketing investment tracking, and cross-functional planning integration&mdash;ensuring that brand and resource decisions are supported by disciplined routines, clear scorecards, and actionable recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
1) Market, Channel &amp; Competitive Intelligence<ul><li>
Consolidate market performance signals and competitive moves (Nielsen, brand equity, search, incidence tracking data).</li><li>
Monitor channel and region dynamics (e-commerce vs. traditional, key account developments, assortment and availability signals) in partnership with Sales/RGM.</li><li>
Provide concise intelligence updates that inform portfolio actions and marketing resource allocation.</li></ul>
2) Portfolio Governance &amp; Performance Management<ul><li>
Run portfolio governance reviews (monthly/quarterly), including agenda setting, materials, action logs, and decision follow-up.</li><li>
Maintain portfolio performance scorecards and dashboards across priority brands, categories, and segments (volume/value, share, price mix, distribution, promo intensity, and profitability proxies where available).</li><li>
Support portfolio choices through structured analyses in partnership with Finance and Brand Teams.</li></ul>
3) Marketing Investment (A&amp;P, Media, Campaigns)<ul><li>
Own the marketing investment performance tracking approach (A&amp;P allocation, working vs. non-working, touchpoint efficiency, and campaign impact readouts).</li><li>
Partner with brand, media, and agency teams to evaluate media performance and diagnose drivers of efficiency (reach, frequency, quality, timing, creative rotation, etc.).</li><li>
Establish standard post-campaign evaluation routines and ensure learnings are captured and reused (test-and-learn agenda, learning library).</li></ul>
4) Cross-Functional Planning &amp; Integration<ul><li>
Act as the day-to-day integrator across Marketing, Sales, RGM, Finance, and Supply Chain to align assumptions, phasing, constraints, and actions.</li></ul>
5) Ways of Working, Tooling &amp; Capability<ul><li>
Standardize templates and reporting logic to improve consistency and speed of decision-making.</li><li>
Improve data quality and accessibility by coordinating with Data/BI teams on dashboard requirements, refresh cadences, and KPI definitions.</li></ul>
Key Deliverables / Outputs<ul><li>
Portfolio performance dashboard/scorecard with agreed KPI definitions.</li><li>
Monthly/quarterly portfolio performance readouts with recommended actions.</li><li>
Marketing investment tracker (A&amp;P, working/non-working, campaign summaries) and post-campaign report templates.</li></ul>
Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>
Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate data into clear actions.</li><li>
Expertise in performance management, marketing success, and business planning routines.</li><li>
Comfortable with ambiguity; structured problem-solving and strong prioritization.</li><li>
Strong project management/governance discipline and attention to detail.</li><li>
Influencing skills in a matrix environment; confident stakeholder management.</li><li>
Storylining and executive-ready communication.</li></ul>
Experience / Background (Guideline)<ul><li>
5&ndash;8+ years in roles spanning business planning, portfolio/brand performance, analytics, or strategy.</li><li>
Hands-on experience with dashboards and data tools.</li><li>
Familiarity with A&amp;P budgeting, media metrics, consumer data tracking, and cross-functional planning processes.</li></ul>
