Perry County School District No. 32 is seeking a Secretary for the Elementary Office for the 2026-2027 school year.JOB DESCRIPTIONPerforms confidential secretarial and clerical responsibilities necessary for an efficient and effective school office serving the building assistant principal as a representative of the school, and often serves as a liaison among students, teachers, administrators and parents; so that a safe learning and effective instructional environment is provided to ensure that all students meet their learning goals.SALARY RANGEStarting at $15.35 per hour<ul><li>New employees receive credit for previous FULL years of verified experience in appropriate experience related to the area in which they will work.</li><li>Current District 32 .</li></ul>WORK SCHEDULEThis position works 8 hours per day, year round.BENEFITSEmployees at Perry County School District 32 receive the following benefits:<ul><li>The district pays up to $650.00 per month for the employee&rsquo;s medical insurance, which begins on the first day of the month following the official employment date. Vision, dental, and life insurance are optional and at employee expense.</li><li>District-paid $10,000.00 life insurance policy.</li><li>Paid leave: 12 sick days and unused sick leave will be cumulative to 180 days, with a maximum carryover of 168 days; 2 personal days that do not carryover, but are added to the annual sick leave and then qualify for accumulation.
