<b>Position</b> <b>Objective: </b>To perform a wide range of administrative duties for PETA India Delhi Office</p>

<p><b>
 </b><b>Duties and Responsibilities</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Provide routine administrative and other support to the Director of Administration and IT.</li>
<li>Assist administrative staff on a wide range of office duties, as instructed by the Director of Administration and IT.</li>
<li>Manage travel tickets and hotel bookings for PETA India staff members promptly and with attention to detail.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Maintain an updated list of recommended hotels across different states; collect regular feedback from staff and revise the database accordingly.</li>
<li>Follow up with vendors to ensure timely receipt of invoices and submit them to the Accounts Department in an organized manner.</li>
<li>Handle procurement requests as directed by the Director of Administration and IT; conduct thorough product research and prepare comparative charts with recommendations for the most suitable options.</li>
<li>Coordinate with vendors for printing, repairs, and other administrative requirements as needed.</li>
<li>Provide a prompt and courteous welcome to all guests, including ensuring that they are offered water and refreshments (as required). And maintain the decorum of the office.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Handling any work given outside the office, such as printing, delivering/collecting files from court/ lawyers, etc.</li>
<li>Maintain an orderly, organised and clean office work environment, including ensuring that costumes and hard copy files are in order, bringing any problems whatsoever to the notice of the supervisor</li>
<li>Maintain inventories for various departments</li>
<li>Fill in for reception duties when required</li>
<li>Distribute couriers or parcels among the correct employees in an orderly manner</li>
<li>Assist staff members in scanning, printing, faxing and other such office needs</li>
<li>Train new employees on using the printer, copier and other basic office functions</li>
<li>Assist with demonstrations, shoots, youth outreach and other events.</li>
<li>Ensure the safety and security of the office at all times.</li>
<li>Care for any animals in the office, including our resident animals.</li>
<li>Maintain the incoming and outgoing register for visitors</li>
<li>Secure the premises and personnel by patrolling the property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, and controlling entry.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Oversee and monitor the work of housekeeping staff and security guards to ensure expected standards are maintained. Promptly report any issues or concerns to the reporting manager.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Prevent losses and damage by timely reporting of irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.</li>

<ul>
<li>Qualification &ndash; Any Graduate</li>
<li>Experience in a similar role preferred</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to interact in a professional and courteous manner</li>
<li>Proven ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines</li>
<li>Demonstrated organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to be trustworthy</li>
<li>Proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality at all times</li>
<li>Good writing skills and an excellent phone manner</li>
<li>Fluency in written and verbal Hindi and English</li>
Professional appearance and ad<li>nce to a vegan lifestyle</li>
