Come make better eggs with us!A Brief OverviewThe HR Generalist will support Human Resource in providing guidance, coaching, and support to management and staff regarding employee relations issues, performance management, policies and procedures, and other areas of the HR function as needed.What you will do<ul><li>Recruitment</li><li>New hire orientation and onboarding</li><li>Employee training and development</li><li>Local implementation, monitoring and maintenance of HR Policy and Health and Safety initiatives</li><li>Reporting of Workers&rsquo; Compensation claims and maintenance of Return-To-Work Program</li><li>Benefit administration including eligibility meetings and enrollments</li><li>Administer and maintain performance management programs</li><li>Data entry and maintenance of HRIS.</li><li>Support user needs and troubleshoot payroll self-service and time and attendance systems</li><li>Employee relations</li><li>Employee communications</li><li>Exit and retention interviews</li><li>Recordkeeping and file maintenance</li><li>Employee goodwill and events coordination</li><li>Supports HR projects and initiatives</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Or equivalent training and experience.</li><li>3 years Related HR experience in a generalist capacity, preferably in a manufacturing setting.</li><li>Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite and HRIS.</li><li>Solid understanding of related regulatory requirements (e.g. employment law, worker&rsquo;s compensation, FMLA, ADA, OSHA).</li><li>Superior interpersonal, relationship building and customer service skills.</li><li>Excellent communications skills both verbally and in writing.</li><li>Demonstrated training and presentation skills.</li><li>Excellent time management and organizational skills .</li><li>Strong attention to detail and high degree of work accuracy.</li><li>Proven problem solving and conflict resolution skills.</li><li>Proven decision-making and judgment skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of team.</li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality.</li><li>Open and honest communicator.</li></ul>Company Benefits<ul><li>Medical, dental, and vision insurance</li><li>Flexible Spending Account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Disability insurance</li><li>Maternity and Paternity leave</li><li>Paid holidays</li><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Paid vacation time</li><li>Tuition reimbursement</li><li>401(k) retirement plan with 4% employer match</li><li>Footwear reimbursement for onsite employees</li><li>Onsite employees receive free eggs weekly; remote employees receive coupons for free eggs</li><li>Free breakfast on Mondays for all onsite employees</li><li>Opportunities for advancement</li><li>Great company culture</li></ul>Pete and Gerry&rsquo;s Organics is and Equal Opportunity Employer.
