The Role:

We are looking for a dependable handyman to assist our Plumbing/HVAC install crews with residential clean-up and general repairs after the installation of various systems. From carpentry to drywall to painting to flooring, you would be responsible for completing projects in a timely manner while maintaining excellent rapport with our customers! When things are slower out in the field, you will also be responsible for various tasks within our corporate office and branch locations.

What You'll Do
<ul><li>
Proactively identify potential issues that occurred as a result from equipment installation and develop a repair plan.</li><li>
Cut out, replace, and patch drywall as needed.
</li><li>Perform carpentry work involving the repair of trim, staircases, outdoor fencing, and other household repairs.
</li><li>Oversee and perform other functions including painting, flooring installation, tile, carpet, concrete, light landscaping, etc.
</li><li>Prioritize and document repairs per policy and standard operating procedures.
</li><li>Travel to customers within our branch locations to perform repairs (Indianapolis, Bloomington, Columbus, Lafayette, and Muncie).</li><li>
Effectively communicate with technicians and customers both in person, written, and via electronic channels.</li></ul>

What You'll Need
<ul><li>
3+ years of carpentry and general handyman experience (required).</li><li>
Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.</li><li>
Ability to life 50+ pounds.</li><li>
Your own complete set of tools.</li><li>
Ability to diagnose and solve various residential repairs and needs.
</li><li>Ability to lead and oversee certain projects as needed.</li></ul>
