Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Med Tech/Caregiver to provide high-quality support and medical assistance to individuals in various care settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior care, assisted living, or nursing home environments, with experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, or memory care needs. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining patient dignity and safety.Duties<ul><li>Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support for residents or patients.</li><li>Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems.</li><li>Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality.</li><li>Support patients with specialized needs such as tube feeding, catheter care, or other medical procedures under supervision of nursing staff.</li><li>Document all patient interactions and medical information clearly and accurately within medical records systems like Epic or Cerner.</li><li>Recognize signs of health deterioration or emergencies and respond promptly by notifying appropriate healthcare professionals.</li><li>Provide compassionate care tailored to individuals with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or other cognitive impairments within memory or hospice care environments.</li><li>Maintain a safe environment by following infection control procedures and safety protocols at all times.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Previous experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care settings is highly preferred.</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to patient care.</li><li>Hands-on experience with medical documentation including vital signs monitoring and medication administration.</li><li>Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner for accurate record-keeping and reporting.</li><li>Experience caring for individuals with disabilities or chronic conditions such as Alzheimer&rsquo;s disease or dementia is advantageous.</li><li>Knowledge of hospice care practices and working with terminally ill patients is a plus.</li><li>Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards within healthcare environments.
