Job Description:Dynamic Portland law firm has an opening for a full-time legal assistant. Duties to include maintaining attorney calendar, scheduling appointments, drafting pleadings and other court documents, drafting correspondence to courts and clients, and maintaining client files.Job Requirements:The ideal candidate must be detail oriented, self-motivated, highly organized and able to exercise a high degree of discretion and judgment. Candidate must also have strong written and verbal communication skills as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Acrobat Pro and transcription.
