The Financial Analyst will collaborate with various departments across the Association on a monthly basis to analyze financial results and explain variances in budget, forecast, and prior year. This role will also assist in preparing the monthly reporting package distributed to the Executive Team and Board of Directors. Additionally, the Financial Analyst will provide business decision support to the management team and operational departments throughout the Association.</div><div></div><div>
RESPONSIBILITIES: (Specific areas of responsibility include but are not limited to):</div><div></div><div>
Serve as the lead financial representative for various PGA departments and lead monthly review meetings with these departments.</div><div></div><div>
Support the preparation of annual budgets, the four-year plan, and quarterly forecasts and monitor results against budgets and forecasts.</div><div></div><div>
Prepare financial analysis for decision support by gaining a deep understanding of the operations of each department for which they are responsible.</div><div></div><div>
Assist in the preparation of the financial reporting package that is distributed monthly to the Executive Team and quarterly to the Board of Directors.</div><div></div><div>
Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of financial departmental dashboards and reports within Workday.</div><div></div><div>
Assist in the preparation of Executive Team and Board of Directors presentations.</div><div></div><div>
Support on-site operations staff with any financial questions or analysis upon request.</div><div></div><div>
Assist the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Senior Director of Finance in ad-hoc requests for financial analysis.</div><div></div><div>

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY:</div><div></div><div>
Assist in the development of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts and monitor results.</div><div></div><div>
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:</div><div>
 Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field.</div><div></div><div>
Two years of financial analysis and budget preparation experience in a multi-functional organization. Prior experience using financial analysis methods and techniques for business decision support.</div><div></div><div>
Working knowledge of the Workday financial system and Workday reporting preferred</div><div></div><div>
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:</div><div></div><div>
Must have a thorough knowledge of accounting principles, procedures and systems with a solid understanding of budget preparation and financial reporting. A knowledge of organization functions of a business operation. Ability to gain a deep understanding of the report structure, report writing, and report distribution for the Association&rsquo;s ERP and EPM systems. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite/Google Workspace. Basic fluency in artificial intelligence (AI) tools and concepts. This includes using AI to enhance business operations and drive innovation, enabling us to better serve our Members and stakeholders.</div><div></div><div><i>
