We are committed to bringing quality medical and surgical services and add values in the healthcare industry in the area of Lusail City.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Directs, supervises, and guides nursing staff in providing care and ensuring support services availability.</li><li>Maintains high standards of patient care standards in the unit/ department at all times.</li><li>Conducts rounds, chart reviews, and evaluates nursing skills and patient care.</li><li>Ensures adherence to policies, procedures, and nursing standards for care provision.</li><li>Coordinates nursing activities and maintains a conducive working environment.</li><li>Performs specific responsibilities as delegated by Phi Medcare Nursing administration.</li><li>Promote effective interaction of nursing staff with patients, families, and team members.</li><li>Upholds patients&rsquo; safety, and rights, privacy, and confidentiality in the ward/ department.</li><li>Addresses patients' satisfaction needs courteously and promptly.</li><li>Implement and clarify the clinics&rsquo; policies and procedures to healthcare staff.</li><li>Follow established communication channels as per nursing administration guidelines.</li><li>Resolve urgent concerns and stressful situations directly with patients and staff.</li><li>Leads and participates in changes and innovations in the department/ unit.</li><li>Ensures staff safety, welfare, and development, and positive relationships amongst the team and with patients.</li><li>Monitors adherence to the established dress code policy among healthcare staff.</li><li>Manages and conducts probationary and annual performance appraisals on assigned nurses, setting personal objectives, and identifying any personal development areas.</li><li>Orient new employees to the department and attend KSUMC general and nursing orientation.</li><li>Select and develop senior nurses to become effective mentors/ supervisors.</li><li>Leads the annual training needs analysis plan for the department.</li><li>Counsels and disciplines nursing staff when needed following the agreed policies and procedures.</li><li>Schedules daily department activities, including assignment planning, scheduled meal and break time, and attendance of educations classes.</li><li>Monitor attendance, pre-approve employee leave requests, and submit monthly staff timesheets to HR.</li><li>Resolves conflicts involving staff and/or patients.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Nursing</li><li>Master&rsquo;s degree in Nursing is preferred</li><li>Minimum of 10 years of experience Nursing, 3 of which as a Nurse in Charge</li><li>Strong leadership ability</li><li>Creative problem-solving skills</li><li>Excellent communicator</li><li>Strong administrative skills</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have a valid QCHP license?</li><li>Do you have a positive DataFlow report? As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring the well-being of patients in various healthcare settings.Responsibilities &amp; Duties<ul><li>Assessing, implementing, planning, and evaluating patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.</li><li>Maintaining accurate, complete healthcare records and reports.</li><li>Performing pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative care (i.e. Initial assessment, Shaving, IV cannulation).</li><li>Monitoring general patient&rsquo;s conditions (i.e. vital signs using medical devices, inspecting wounds and changing the patient&rsquo;s dressing as needed)</li><li>Administering medications to patients as ordered by the physician and monitoring them for side effects and any allergic reactions</li><li>Educating patients on pre and post-operative care.</li><li>Guiding Nurse Trainees during pre and post-operations</li><li>Assisting the Physician during various procedures</li><li>Monitoring, reporting, and recording symptoms or changes in patient conditions</li><li>Verifying patient health treatment plans as indicated by patient conditions and responses</li><li>Maintaining clean treatment rooms, and assisting with maintaining clean dressing rooms</li></ul>Competency (knowledge, skills, &amp; abilities)<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Nursing</li><li>Minimum 3 years of experience as a Licensed Nurse</li><li>QCHP Nursing license (preferred)</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Keen eye for detail</li></ul>Job Type: Full-time
