The Quality Control Intern is an integral part of our Quality team based out of our US - State College, PA site.</p><p></p><div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>
Position Details</b></h2>

This position is a Summer Internship. Interns at Phibro will get a great hands-on experience in a real work environment. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Key Responsibilities</b></h2>
</div><div><div>
Partner with the Quality team to support the day-to-day operations of the lab, including:<br>
<ul><li>Sample grinding</li><li>Solution Preparation</li><li>Labeling of samples and glassware</li><li>Feed lab administrative support</li><li>Cleaning and preparation of lab instruments and glassware</li><li>Non-release / stability sample preparation</li><li>Assist with metrology functions</li><li>Other general lab functions as needed</li></ul></div></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Skills that will be developed:</b></h2>
</div><div><ul><li>General laboratory techniques</li>
<li>Glassware Preparation</li>
<li>Introduction to GMP environment</li>
<li>Multiple interactions with lab staff on a daily basis</li>
<li>Evaluate ability to learn new techniques and seek out information.</li>
</ul></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Education, Experience and Skills required</b></h2>
</div><div><ul><li>Rising Junior or senior pursuing a BS in a scientific field</li>
<li>Strong academic record</li>
<li>Strong analytical and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Willingness to learn</li>
