Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW) is offering internships/co-ops for Computer Science students in our Information Service Governance Department. Opportunities are available during the academic/calendar year and summer months.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
The PGW Internship Program is designed for students currently enrolled FULL-TIME at an accredited college or university with a sophomore classification or above ONLY.</b></div><div><b><br>

Responsibilities:

Ongoing review of national gas energy efficiency programs.</div><ul><li>
Program designs</li><li>
Targeted Measures</li><li>
Incentive levels</li><li>
Marketing Practices</li></ul><div>
Provide recommendations and support program for designing future EnergySense energy efficiency programs and low income weatherization programs.</div><div>
Research grant opportunities and other programs in region that can support energy efficiency, and maintain a catalog of those organizations.</div><div>
Review of new customer service program opportunities.</div><ul><li>
Research of best practices within the industry</li><li>
Compilation of program materials</li><li>
Program marketing and participation</li></ul><div>
Support customer service initiatives.</div><div></div><div><br>
Data Analysis</div><ul><li>
Analyze program data and customer billing data to determine if energy efficiency measures are achieving savings, and make recommendations for program improvement based off analysis</li><li>
Philadelphia demographics &amp; PGW customer data to inform targeted marketing</li><li>
Refining program marketing outreach databases for targeted outreach</li></ul><div>
Marketing/Communications</div><ul><li>
Assistance in development of communications materials, drafting newsletters and social media posts</li><li>
Identifying key outreach partners &amp; stakeholders</li><li>
Analyze data from recent marketing campaigns to identify trends and inform strategy</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Environmental Studies, Communications, or a or other related field of study and currently enrolled in Graduate School OR currently enrolled in a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree program in Business Administration, Public Policy, Environmental Studies or other related field of study as a Junior or Senior.</li><li>
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and employees.</li><li>
Must have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate and influence others in the best interest of PGW while maintaining professional effective business relationships.</li><li>
Be able to commit to 15-20 hours per week to the program (year-round interns);</li></ul><div>
