 , you will support short-term and intermediate power trading activities by applying sound commercial judgment, expert market analysis, and disciplined execution. The Trader plays a key role in optimizing value across power markets while operating within defined risk limits and maintaining strong internal and external relationships.
 
 
 This position works a 12 hour rotating shift schedule (DuPont) including days, nights, weekends, and some holidays.
 
 
 
 What You&rsquo;ll Do
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Purchase, sell, and exchange physical and financial power within defined limits to support short-term and intermediate trading strategies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Analyze market fundamentals, pricing trends, and locational dynamics to identify opportunities and inform trading decisions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Schedule and manage physical and financial positions using approved trading and risk management systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure accurate documentation and timely communication of market activity.
 </li>
 <li>
 Optimize electricity demand, generation assets, and transmission utilization to capture value across markets.
 </li>
 <li>
 Negotiate transactions with producers, traders, and customers in accordance with established policies and procedures.
 </li>

 Participate in Virtual and FTR markets.
 </li>

 Contribute to the development and expansion of trading strategies, products, and regional activity.

 Compensation Range
 
 
 
 This position has a base salary range of $147,600 &ndash; $180,400. This role is eligible to participate in the company&rsquo;s commercial bonus program, offering the opportunity to earn additional compensation based on business and individual performance, in accordance with program guidelines.

As a 2026 Borger Refinery Process Data Summer Intern , you will play a key role in making contributions that support our Phillips 66 Borger Refinery. The position will work under the supervision of an experienced Project Manager and network with other students participating in the Intern program. The position will provide an introduction to company practices, procedures, and safety culture.
 
What You’ll Do
 
Assist with the support and maintenance of various systems.
 
Utilize Excel and Visual Basic (VB) or other programming languages to expedite data cleanup and organization.
 
Ensure all critical instruments are accurately added to the system.
 
Facilitate the download of data to tools for craftsperson use.
 
Collaborate with team members to achieve long-term system integration goals.
 
Provide training and support to team members on the use of the systems.
 
Any other duties as assigned

The Borger Refinery is located in Borger, Texas, in the Texas Panhandle, approximately 50 miles north of Amarillo, Texas. Refinery facilities include crude distilling, naphtha reforming, fluid catalytic cracking, alkylation, hydrodesulfurization and delayed coking units. The refinery processes primarily medium sour crude oil produced locally, and heavy sour crude oil produced in Canada, all of which are delivered by pipeline. Borger produces a high percentage of transportation fuels, as well as petroleum coke, NGLs and solvents. Refined products are distributed to customers via pipelines from the refinery to West Texas, New Mexico, Colorado and the Midcontinent region.
