What You&rsquo;ll Do</b></h2><ul><li>
Deliver outstanding hospitality and ensure every guest experience is warm, efficient, and memorable</li><li>
Accurately take and input orders into the POS system</li><li>
Prepare espresso beverages and other menu items to the highest quality and presentation standards</li><li>
Maintain strong knowledge of menu offerings, ingredients, and brewing techniques to confidently answer guest questions and make recommendations</li><li>
Operate espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and related equipment safely and efficiently</li><li>
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming caf&eacute; environment</li><li>
Merchandise display food items attractively and according to brand standards</li><li>
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols</li><li>
Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies to support seamless daily operations.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>

Beverage Preparation &amp; Service</b></h3><ul><li>
Prepare high-quality espresso, coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines</li><li>
Ensure consistent taste, temperature, and quality of all beverages</li><li>
Customize drinks to meet guest preferences and dietary needs</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Customer Service</b></h3><ul><li>
Greet and engage guests warmly and professionally</li><li>
Take accurate orders and provide recommendations when appropriate</li><li>
Maintain a clean, inviting, and organized service area</li><li>
Handle guest concerns or complaints promptly, escalating when necessary</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Operational Efficiency</b></h3><ul><li>
Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other beverage equipment safely and efficiently</li><li>
Maintain proper stock of coffee, milk, syrups, and supplies for smooth service</li><li>
Clean and sanitize equipment, counters, and service areas throughout the shift</li><li>
Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and end-of-day reconciliation</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Teamwork &amp; Communication</b></h3><ul><li>
Collaborate effectively with fellow baristas, kitchen staff, and FOH team members</li><li>
Communicate clearly regarding inventory needs, equipment issues, and service priorities</li><li>
Support training and development of new team members as needed</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Health, Safety &amp; Compliance</b></h3><ul><li><b>
Must have a valid Food Handler&rsquo;s Card</b></li><li>
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines</li><li>
Adhere to company policies regarding hygiene, dress code, and professional conduct</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Continuous Improvement</b></h3><ul><li>
Stay informed on new beverage trends and techniques</li><li>
Suggest process improvements to enhance guest experience and operational efficiency.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
What You Bring</b></h2><ul><li>
Previous barista experience required</li><li>
Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques; latte art experience a plus</li><li>
Familiarity with Square POS preferred</li><li>
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills</li><li>
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment</li><li>
Knowledge of food safety and proper handling procedures</li><li>
Excellent communication skills</li><li>
A genuine passion for coffee and eagerness to continue learning</li><li>
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs</li><li>
Ability to commute to San Francisco, CA 94158 or relocate prior to start date</li></ul><p>
