JOB DESCRIPTION:</b></div><div>
Phoenix Rising FC is seeking a creative and dedicated junior graphic designer to create impactful collateral and lead brand design initiatives for the club while supporting conceptual development, design and execution of creative projects and branding. The junior graphic designer will communicate the club's creative vision within the community, internally and with the club's corporate partners.</div><div>

The perfect candidate for this position would have extraordinary design skills, including a proven ability to create impactful graphics, work as a team-player in a fast-paced environment, and have strong attention to detail. The junior graphic designer will need to work across a variety of mediums (print, digital platforms, logo design, production artwork, etc.) in the creation of materials for developing and maintaining an impactful, on-brand experience as well as various email marketing, site ads, etc. They are responsible for supervising the entire design process and making creative design decisions.</div><div>

This position requires both independent work and collaboration with the broader content team. A positive attitude is crucial, as is the ability to receive and incorporate feedback to improve your work.</div><div>

ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></div><ul><li>
Oversee and manage the club's visual creative services, specifically, brand identity and graphic design.</li><li>
Production of advertising assets, copywriting, social media graphics, photo retouching, print production, out-of-home, in-game content, team merch, etc.</li><li>
 Develop new graphic packages (logos, treatments, graphic designs, templates) for marquee events, marketing initiatives, and content programming.</li><li>
Creative lead on banners, ads, email, experiences, etc.</li><li>
Learn and understand the brand narrative and style guide to drive consistency and accuracy through all creative across the organization.</li><li>
Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and quickly turn around work product.</li><li>
Ability to provide graphics support for events (hosted across the organization), including the creation of invitations, signage, credentials, etc.</li><li>
Excellent presentation skills and communication abilities, including the ability to provide clear creative direction and interaction with multiple internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>
Brainstorm, conceptualize, execute, iterate, and finalize multiple design projects simultaneously from start to completion.</li><li>
Create and guide external designers on merchandise concepts and capsule collections.</li><li>
Assist in asset management, including editing, uploading, and organizing content. Keep files up to date and ensure appropriate metadata tagging for streamlined use by multiple stakeholders.</li><li>
Support the creative group with ensuring a creative working environment for the full staff, including fostering creative thinking, brainstorming and problem solving.</li><li>
Assist in maintaining and establishing design department policy.</li><li>
Assume responsibility for organizing and maintaining the organization&rsquo;s visual content calendars for recurring projects and campaigns.</li><li>

QUALIFICATIONS:</b></div><div>
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to fulfill each essential duty satisfactorily. The following requirements represent eligibility requirements, knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for the role:</div><ul><li>
Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator).</li><li>
Exceptional design aesthetic and awareness of design trends and innovation across a variety of static and digital mediums.</li><li>
Experience delivering great creative while meeting parameters of existing brand guidelines.</li><li>
Extensive knowledge of social, digital, and print design.</li><li>
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, fluid, and deadline-driven environment.</li><li>
Proven ability to deliver fresh new ideas.</li><li>
A collaborative, detail-oriented, and organized approach to work, with a proven ability to follow up on and complete tasks on time.</li><li>
Self-motivation, patience, and the ability to work within a team environment.</li><li>
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with team members, executives, member clubs, and external partners.</li></ul><div>

PREFERENCES:</b></div><ul><li>
Some experience in a graphic design role.</li><li>
Previous experience with a professional sports team.</li><li>
Passion for sports. Experience within the sports industry is a plus. Soccer knowledge and understanding is also a plus.</li><li>
Eagerness to learn and be part of a team.</li><li>
Knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Adobe Lightroom.</li><li>
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).</li><li>
Availability to work a non-traditional schedule, including both regular business hours and evenings/weekends.</li></ul><div>
