About the Role: We are looking for a Medical Payment Reconciliation Analyst who would be responsible for special projects primarily related to investigating and resolving complex payment issues. We are a rapidly growing and leading physical therapy (PT) clinic platform in the U.S. We own and operate 200+ PT clinics that provide a variety of outpatient rehabilitation services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, hand therapy and other ancillary services. The position is responsible for the full scope of payment posting duties from a wide range of payors. This position is full-time (40 hours/week, Monday-Friday).

Job Duties:<ul><li>Work assigned specialty follow-up queues.</li><li>Investigate and resolve variances between received payments and missing payments.</li><li>Identify and correct payment posting errors.</li><li>Reconcile recoupments from insurance payors.</li><li>Research unidentified payments to determine appropriate resolution.</li><li>Assist in posting insurance and third-party payments, contractual write-offs and transfers by either electronic means or manually.</li><li>Balance postings daily.</li><li>Maintain a high level of productivity.</li><li>Work with the team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly goals.</li><li>Assist with special projects as needed.</li></ul><div>
Job Requirements: 
<ul><li>High School/G.E.D requirement or equivalent combination of education and experience required.</li><li>Minimum of 3 years medical experience required, with a minimum of 2 years&rsquo; experience in payment posting, electronic payment posting preferred.</li><li>Knowledge and understanding of insurance explanation of benefits required.</li><li>Understanding of medical terminology required.</li><li>Prior experience with high volume transactional environment preferred.</li><li>Excellent typing and 10 key skills required.</li></ul></div>
