Summary of Job Description
The position, Welder C, is responsible for interpreting blueprints, job cards, bill of materials, and routing sheets. The Welder must be able to handle complications involving several variables which vary by customized orders. The Welder must be able to work within precise limits and have experience in MIG (aluminum). 
Essential Functions<ul><li>
Set up and assemble various components for welding</li><li>
Set up machine for welding</li><li>
Weld aluminum components (MIG)</li><li>
Grind welds</li><li>
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations</li><li>
Demonstrate effective interpersonal communication skills</li><li>
Regular attendance required</li><li>
All other duties and responsibilities that are assigned</li></ul> 
Minimum Qualifications<ul><li>
Minimum one-year certificate from college or technical school; on the job training with experience may be accepted</li><li>
6 months or more related experience</li><li>
Proficient in MIG welding on aluminum as demonstrated by an on-site weld skills test</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications to complete Essential Functions<ul><li>
High School Diploma or equivalent education</li><li>
Ability to read blueprints</li><li>
Demonstrated experience using various small and pneumatic hand tools</li><li>
Ability to build or construct product preferred</li></ul>

Work Environment
Working conditions will be inside and outside where temperatures will vary from extreme heat to extreme cold for extended periods of time. This position is regularly exposed to vibration, sparks, and loud noises.
