Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Project Superintendent to support onsite construction activities for low-rise, wood frame multifamily projects. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow into a leadership position while ensuring schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols are met from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Assist the Project Superintendent in overseeing daily site operations</li>
<li>Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain schedule adherence</li>
<li>Monitor work for quality, safety, and compliance with plans/specs</li>
<li>Help maintain site documentation, including daily journals, inspections and RFIs</li>
<li>Support project planning and sequencing of construction activities</li>
<li>Troubleshoot onsite issues and escalate as needed to the Superintendent</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Successful completion of the in-house Project Engineer (PE) program; or successful completion of an apprenticeship in trades or a cooperative education service such as BOCES; or a minimum of 5 years equivalent experience in the construction industry, required.</li>
<li>Experience with low-rise, wood frame multifamily projects, required.</li>
<li>Proficient with Microsoft applications, required.</li>
<li>Construction software, preferred.</li>
<li>Various Field Trade Role knowledge, required.</li>
<li>Scheduling, design specifications, drawings and documents required.</li>
<li>HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, required.</li>
