The Opportunity
Pillar4 Media is seeking a Senior Staff Writer to join its fast-growing team.
As a Senior Staff Writer, you'll work closely with our editors to write dynamic reviews and roundups of popular health and wellness products available on the market today.You'll work closely with the SEO and revenue teams to plan, edit, and create compelling content that's engaging, informative, and optimized for web search.

What You'll Be Doing
Reporting to the Managing Editor, the Senior Staff Writer will:<ul><li>
Write in-depth product reviews and roundups. These will require you to convey essential information about a variety of health and wellness products in a voice that's captivating, knowledgeable, and easy to understand. The reviews will be long-form and comprehensive, averaging 2,000 words each, and the roundups will come in at about 6,000 words.</li><li>
Conduct deep research in peer-reviewed journals and other scholarly sources and translate this knowledge for a wider audience.</li><li>
Carry out content optimizations, working closely with the SEO and revenue teams.</li><li>
Test products and/or collaborate with product testers to secure original experience notes, images, and other rich media for content.</li><li>
Play an active role in developing testing methodologies, becoming a subject matter expert across multiple product categories.</li><li>
Cultivate relationships with medical advisory teams and be able to work through expert medical review edits.</li><li>
Uphold our high standards for editorial excellence as well as SEO. Each piece of content must be optimized, on brand, and delivered on time.

3-5 years of e-commerce writing experience</li><li>
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye toward SEO optimization</li><li>
Knowledge of AP style
</li><li>Experience leading and managing editorial projects from inception to execution

As a member of the Product team, you'll work closely with senior leadership and other team members to wireframe, design, and launch UX/UI improvements across channels and platforms to improve customer experience and conversion rate. We are also looking for someone with skills in graphic design and copyediting as many of our designers wear multiple hats and work across a variety of initiatives.
You'll work closely with our editorial, SEO, Product, and Web Developmemt teams to create best-in-class digital experiences for our users.

What You'll Be Doing
The UX/UI Designer will:<ul><li>
Brainstorm, wireframe, and develop data-driven designs to create best-in-class digital experiences across commercial marketing funnels and channels, including organic search, social, display, and YouTube</li><li>
Collaborate with product owners, SEO specialists, web developers and editorial teams to understand user behavior and conversion journeys, and translate those insights into effective design structures and supporting visuals.</li><li>
Make smart UX design recommendations to improve on-site page conversion and revenue</li><li>
Create wireframes and page requirements to support new site launches or page template redesigns informed by our data and competitive research</li><li>
