The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. This role involves designing engaging lesson plans, implementing curriculum, and fostering a love for learning in preschool-aged children.Duties<ul><li>Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that meets the developmental needs of children.</li><li>Create lesson plans that incorporate various subjects including literacy, math, and physical education.</li><li>Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.</li><li>Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies.</li><li>Provide individualized support to children with special needs or those requiring early intervention.</li><li>Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.</li><li>Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and progress.</li><li>Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment conducive to learning.</li><li>Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the educational experience.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Strong background in early childhood education with experience working with preschool-aged children.</li><li>Proficient in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management.</li><li>Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.</li><li>Experience in special education or early intervention is highly desirable.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.</li><li>Familiarity with standardized testing practices as well as tutoring methods is a plus.</li><li>Ability to teach physical education activities tailored for young learners.</li><li>Experience in daycare or private school settings is advantageous.</li><li>Understanding of Montessori principles or similar educational philosophies is beneficial.
