<p>
We are seeking General Maintenance Workers to join our team and assist with keeping the grounds in their beautiful, serene state, all while helping with the preparation and conduction of burials.</p>
<p>
Please note that this is a seasonal/temporary position starting on or around March 2026</p>
<h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Job Duties:</b></h4><p>
Pick up and clean debris, weeds and other cleaning and maintenance activities as needed (pick-up soil, snow, leaves, etc.)</p>
<p>
Perform gardening and landscaping tasks throughout the cemetery</p>
<p>
Operate equipment such as tampers, jackhammers, bronze trimmers, and other heavy equipment as needed</p>
<p>
Lift and move bronze memorials, cement foundations, sod, plywood, etc.</p>
<p>
Carry caskets during internments and entombments, as required during the day-to-day cemetery operations</p>
<h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Minimum Requirements:</b></h4><p>
Must be ready, willing and able to work weekends</p>
<p>
Must possess a valid, unexpired Driver's License</p>
<p>
Must be able to comprehend and communicate effectively in English</p>
<p>
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.</p>
<h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Physical Requirements:</b></h4><p>
Must be able to work outdoors under any weather conditions</p>
<p>
Must be able to remain on feet for continuous periods of time</p>
<p>
Must be able to climb ladders, stairs, ramps, etc.</p>
<p>
Must be able to walk considerable distances during the course of the work-shift</p>
<p>
Must be able to lift, rise and lower objects from one level to another</p>
<p>
Must be able to pull, push, and carry large amounts of weight (50-100 lbs.) at any given time</p>
<p>
Pay Rate: $27.51 per hour</p>
