Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team. In this role, you will assist in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and supporting the Store Manager in achieving store goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for retail, and the ability to motivate and develop a team.Duties<ul><li>Assist in managing store operations, including inventory control, merchandising, and sales management.</li><li>Supervise and train staff to ensure high levels of customer service and operational efficiency.</li><li>Conduct employee orientation and training programs to enhance team performance.</li><li>Oversee payroll processes, including time management and cash handling procedures.</li><li>Engage in recruiting efforts to build a strong team through effective interviewing practices.</li><li>Implement effective inventory management strategies to maintain optimal stock levels.</li><li>Utilize POS systems for transactions and manage cash registers with accuracy.</li><li>Collaborate with the Store Manager on budgeting and financial planning activities.</li><li>Maintain visual merchandising standards to enhance the shopping experience.</li><li>Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and team management.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience in retail management or as an Assistant Manager in a similar environment.</li><li>Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.</li><li>Proficient in retail math, inventory control, and bookkeeping practices.</li><li>Experience with sales management, pricing strategies, and merchandising techniques.</li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.</li><li>Familiarity with administrative duties related to store management processes.</li><li>Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
