</p><p>The Business Development &amp; Marketing Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping how our global BD&amp;M function operates - ensuring it is connected, efficient and delivering against our strategic priorities.
</p><p>This is a highly visible and business-critical role, acting as the operational backbone of the BD&amp;M function. You&rsquo;ll partner with senior leaders, product owners, and specialist teams to turn strategy into delivery, embed best practice, and drive continuous improvement across systems, processes, and ways of working.
</p><p><b>What you&rsquo;ll do
</b></p><p>You&rsquo;ll lead the operational running of the BD&amp;M function, ensuring alignment, consistency, and effectiveness at a global scale. Key responsibilities include:
</p><div>Operational leadership &amp; coordination

<ul><li>Translate strategic priorities into clear plans, timelines, and deliverables
</li><li>Maintain oversight of activity, risks, and dependencies across teams
</li><li>Support leadership planning cycles and decision-making<br>
</li></ul></div><div>Process, governance &amp; standards
<br>
<ul><li>Design and embed consistent processes, guidance, and operational standards
</li><li>Identify inefficiencies and improve ways of working
</li><li>Maintain risk and compliance oversight, including audit readiness<br>
</li></ul></div><div>Financial management
<br>
<ul><li>Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across BD&amp;M
</li><li>Ensure strong financial governance and best practice
</li><li>Manage central investment processes and track return on investment<br>
</li></ul></div><div>Technology &amp; systems
<br>
<ul><li>Partner with product and technology teams to optimise system usage
</li><li>Ensure tools are embedded into workflows and adopted consistently
</li><li>Identify and resolve system friction points<br>
</li></ul></div><div>Data &amp; insight
<br>
<ul><li>Enable accessible, meaningful reporting to support decisions
</li><li>Improve data quality and alignment across systems
</li><li>Embed reporting into day-to-day activity and planning<br>
</li></ul></div><div>Transformation &amp; change

<ul><li>Support the delivery and embedding of transformation initiatives
</li><li>Bridge the gap between strategy and operational execution
</li><li>Ensure sustainable adoption of new processes and tools<br>

<ul><li>Oversee knowledge management and onboarding across the function

</li><li>Ensure effective support for leadership and team operations<br>

</b></p><p>We&rsquo;re looking for a commercially-minded operations professional with strong stakeholder management skills and a passion for continuous improvement.
</p><div>You will bring:

<ul><li>Significant experience in business development, marketing operations, or business operations within a professional services environment
</li><li>Strong understanding of budgeting, governance, and operational processes
</li><li>Experience working with CRM systems, marketing technology, and reporting tools
</li><li>Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
</li><li>A track record of supporting strategic initiatives and driving change
</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
</li><li>Excellent communication and influencing skills
</li><li>A proactive, collaborative, and accountable approach
</li><li>Confidence working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
</li><li>A strong focus on data quality, compliance, and continuous improvement
