About the Opportunity

The Material Issue Operator performs a variety of activities such as inspecting, labeling, issuing and storing copper laminates in the designated storage area.

What You'll Do:
<ul>
<li>Reads and understands the standard operating procedures (SOP)</li>
<li>Ensures that receiving inspection is completed with verifying material certification and control number for all material received; completes counting and logs into ProCIM for tracking purposes; labels and stores material in the designated storage area and maintains records</li>
<li>Scans production traveler's bar code to verify material availability and notifies purchasing for unavailable materials</li>
<li>Prior to cutting materials, inspects for any damage or defects; notifies purchasing for damaged or defective materials and completes NCR form for disposition</li>
<li>Verifies the copper weight of both sides of all copper clad materials by using a calibrated copper weight measurement device; verifies overall core thickness with calibrated micrometer to ensure that materials meet the requirement as specified on production traveler</li>
<li>Cuts materials and marks all flexible laminate layers and places cardboard on both sides to protect from handling damage</li>
<li>Records quantity, lot number, control number and vendor on traveler and logs job out on ProCIM</li>
<li>Delivers to appropriate job process location</li>
<li>Assists in training individuals and other team associates as assigned</li>
<li>Performs all other duties as needed</li>
</ul>
What You'll Bring:
<ul>
<li> Ability to read and interpret documents such as standard operating procedure, traveler and safety rules in English to the degree necessary to perform the job</li>
<li>Ability to organize a large variety of incoming and outgoing materials</li>
<li>Ability to review documents for accuracy and completeness</li>
<li>Experience operating a forklift, or willing to complete forklift training</li>
<li>Must be detailed oriented and self-motivated</li>
<li>Must be able to remain focused with minor interruptions</li>
<li>Must be able to work overtime as required</li>
</ul>
Education and Experience:
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) (Preferred)</li>
<li>1 year of related experience (Preferred)</li>
<li>Experience and understanding of inventory control in a warehouse (Preferred)</li>
<li>ERP system experience (ProCIM or similar)</li>
</ul>
Please note that in addition to prolonged standing and walking, the work environment requires lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds; as well as repetitive hand motion.

Schedule:
<ul>
<li>1st Shift (7:30am to 4:00pm)</li>
<li>Monday through Friday</li>
<li>Overtime and Weekends as needed</li>
</ul>
