The Rig Hand works under the direction of the Rig Operator. This individual is part of a crew that is responsible for the maintenance and day to day operation of the service rigs.<ul><li>Handle the tubing and rods in and out of the racking board ( about 90 feet above the rig floor) for extended periods of time.</li><li>Competent with rig and all equipment</li><li>Performs general maintenance of draw works</li><li>Loads and off-loads pipe and assists in rig movement</li><li>Latch and unlatch tubing and rods</li><li>Knowledge of how pumping units run</li><li>Prepare and set up rig for workover</li><li>Knowledge of thread types, tubing sizes and rod sizes</li><li>Knowledge of working derricks</li><li>Diagnose well problems</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, ContractPay: From $21.50 per hourShift availability:<ul><li>Day Shift (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Garden City, KS (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Garden City, KS: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)</li></ul>Willingness to travel:<ul><li>25% (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
