&Oslash; Punctuality in reaching ward in time.&Oslash; To follow assigned responsibilities given by nursing in charge&Oslash; Carry out nursing assessment of each patient and maintaining records of assessment&Oslash; Take care of all patients based on orders given by clinicians / RMOs (collection of specimen&rsquo;s investigations and medications etc.)&Oslash; Assist and report clinicians during their rounds in ward.&Oslash; Maintain personal hygiene of patients&Oslash; Maintain self-hygiene and follow hand hygiene and good nursing practices.&Oslash; Assist in admission and discharge of patients.&Oslash; Maintaining good inter personal relations with patients and their families with good behavioural practices&Oslash; Maintain good housekeeping with the help of housekeeping staff (Mama / Mavshi) in the ward&Oslash; Follow biomedical waste disposal practices&Oslash; Carry out good communication with clinicians, RMOs and patients&Oslash; Maintain adequate supplies of medicines and disposables in the ward as defined&Oslash; Maintain records of stocks of medicines and disposables in the ward&Oslash; Checking of all equipment&rsquo;s in the ward and keeping them in order with the help of maintenance department. Follow breakdown maintenance SOP.&Oslash; Create safe environment in the hospital to prevent accidents and falls.&Oslash; Communicate critical condition of patient to concerned clinician promptly. Maintain record of communication made.&Oslash; Records and reports nursing care, treatment, medicine correctly and promptly.&Oslash; Reports and records any losses and breakage in the unit&Oslash; Gives orientation to patient and relatives about physical facilities, policy rules and regulations of the hospital.&Oslash; Participates in pre and post management.&Oslash; Implementation of Policies and Procedures of the hospital.
