<div>IMMEDIATE NEED:

The Senior Engineer (Mechanical/Pipeline) is responsible to provide subject matter expertise in the development and management of Engineering governance standards to standardize the execution of engineering within the Projects organization. The Sr. Engineer is also responsible to represent Engineering Management Office (EMO) at various Business initiatives, facilitate training sessions, collaborate with various stakeholders, and mentor peers. 
Specific Accountabilities:
<ul><li>Establish governance for Engineering execution of Projects throughout all Company&rsquo;s Business Units and across all regions (US and Canada).
</li></ul><ul><li>Take ownership in the development and maintenance of engineering governance documents to establish a harmonized approach to project execution throughout all Business Units. Governance documents include, Procedures, Standards, Guides, Deliverable Templates, and much more.
</li></ul><ul><li>Constantly looks for streamlining engineering execution workflows, provides value opportunities to optimize processes, define fit-for-purpose governance for project execution, and bring consistency throughout all governance documents.
</li></ul><ul><li>Demonstrate a good understanding of a Project lifecycle from concept to completion.
</li></ul><ul><li>Experienced working on various types (Liquids, Natural Gas, Renewables) and sizes (small and large) of Oil and Gas projects.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Independently and actively represent Engineering at workshops or stakeholder reviews to brainstorm ideas for improvement or optimization of process workflows related to project execution governance.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Facilitate training and awareness sessions for new and updated engineering governance document to all project stakeholders, virtually and in person.
</li></ul><ul><li>Facilitate stakeholder review meetings, drive discussions, make decisions to accept/reject comments from stakeholders.
</li></ul><ul><li>Strong knowledge of Engineering deliverables by various disciplines.
</li></ul><ul><li>Solid understanding of Engineering interfaces with Procurement, Contracts, Project management, Quality, Construction, Commissioning.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Experience with Asset Management. Assist with development and maintenance of Asset Classes and Asset types, collaborate with technical SMEs and Engineering</li></ul>

Contractor to define attributes/taxonomy of various Asset types, and support development and sustainment of the Project Item Master library (Enterprise Material and Equipment Catalogue).
<ul><li>Assist with sustainment activities related to cloud-based project data management repository (Kahua).
</li></ul><ul><li>Review proposed deviations to engineering governance documents when requested.
</li></ul><ul><li>Review and incorporate change requests to governance documents.
</li></ul><ul><li>Participate and conduct peer reviews on key engineering deliverables on active projects working along side other offices within the Projects Technical Management Office (PTMO) and the Projects Management Office (PMO) to ensure projects meets intent of the governance standards and utilizing templates effectively.
</li></ul><ul><li>Participate in Project Health Checks and Stage Gate reviews to ensure compliance to Engineering governance and readiness for next Stage of the project life cycle.
</li></ul><ul><li>Collaborate and work closely with various stakeholders, including project execution teams from various Business Units.
</li></ul><ul><li>Able to work independently, takes ownership of tasks in hand, and mentors peers.
</li></ul><ul><li>Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, with a drive for documentation.
</li></ul><ul><li>Required to communicate technical issues to technical and non-technical staff.
</li></ul><ul><li>Excellent time management skills. 
</li></ul> 
 
Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Pipeline)
</li></ul><ul><li>Minimum 15 years of Oil and Gas industry experience required.
</li></ul><ul><li>Experience with Renewables energy projects an asset.
</li></ul><ul><li>Asset Management experience as asset.
</li></ul><ul><li>Pipeline design experience an asset.
</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to develop collaborative working relationships with other departments to achieve goals.
</li></ul><ul><li>Demonstrated proficiency working with office computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
</li></ul><ul><li>Demonstrated ability to effectively organize and prioritize work in a timely manner; capable of multi-tasking and working under tight deadlines.</li></ul> 
Schedule:

<li>5/2 Hybird Schedule - 40 hours / week</li></ul>
