Its headquarters are in Lockport, LA, and it operates across North America.Job Summary: The Data Governance Specialist supports the development, implementation, and maintenance of data governance to ensure the quality and democratization of the organization&rsquo;s data assets, with a focus on the data used and maintained by the Data &amp; Systems Strategy (D&amp;SS) department. This position serves as a crucial liaison between the Asset Information Management team, field operations, engineering, Technical Information Systems, and compliance teams, promoting best practices in data management and fostering a culture of data stewardship across teams involved in asset management, operations, and compliance.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Implement and monitor data governance best practices, using established frameworks.</li><li>Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define data ownership, stewardship, and accountability for asset data.</li><li>Oversee data quality initiatives focused on pipeline asset information, including profiling, cleansing, and remediation activities.</li><li>Ensure D&amp;SS&rsquo;s data management practices align with industry standards and best practices (i.e. ISO, ISA, CFIHOS).</li><li>Develop and maintain data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and data lineage documentation for asset data, aligning deliverables with enterprise-wide parameters and stakeholder work efforts, where applicable.</li><li>Develop and maintain governance documents, processes, and digital workspace environment (SharePoint), including processes and workflows, related to asset-related nomenclature.</li><li>Lead awareness sessions specific to data governance in the pipeline industry and facilitate working groups composed of cross-functional stakeholders.</li><li>Monitor and report on data governance metrics and the effectiveness of implemented controls.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Information Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.</li><li>4+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or relevant discipline within the energy sector.</li><li>Familiarity with data governance frameworks and data quality tools.</li><li>Familiarity of pipeline industry regulations (PHMSA), standards, and best practices for data management .</li><li>Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication/presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical requirements to non-technical stakeholders.</li><li>Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and compliance.</li></ul>Preferred Skills:<ul><li>Experience using and reporting from pipeline asset management systems, GIS, or records management platforms.</li><li>Experience with SharePoint management (Design) and using PowerApps (forms and workflows).</li><li>Experience with PowerBI</li><li>Knowledge of master data management (MDM) concepts and their application in asset-centric organizations.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, especially in the context of safety-critical infrastructure data.</li></ul>Benefits Offered:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Vision insurance</li><li>Disability insurance</li><li>Vacation pay for eligible employees</li></ul>Please be advised, If selected, you will join Pioneer Production Services, Inc. as your employer and work at Enbridge facilities, partnering daily with Enbridge and contract team members.**Equal Opportunity EmployerPay: $38.00 - $41.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>How many years do you have in the pipeline industry.</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Data Governance: 4 years (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
