PIONEER STEELSJob Title: Senior AccountantLocation: Thudiyalur, Coimbatore Department: Finance &amp; Accounts Reports to: Finance ManagerJob Summary:Should be able to manage entire accounts of the companyWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with in-depth knowledge of Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations and compliance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company&rsquo;s full accounting processes, with a focus on indirect taxation (GST), statutory reporting, and internal financial controls.Key Responsibilities:Accounting &amp; Financial Management<ul><li>Maintain accurate books of accounts in accordance with accounting standards.</li><li>Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.</li><li>Conduct account reconciliations, general ledger scrutiny, and journal entries.</li><li>Monitor accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow reporting.</li></ul>GST Compliance &amp; Indirect Taxation<ul><li>Ensure full compliance with GST laws and regulations.</li><li>Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.).</li><li>Reconcile GST returns with books of accounts.</li><li>Manage input tax credit (ITC) reconciliation and optimization.</li><li>Respond to GST notices, audits, and inquiries from tax authorities.</li><li>Advise management on changes in GST law and their impact on business operations.</li></ul>Audit &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Coordinate with statutory and internal auditors during audits.</li><li>Assist in preparation of audit schedules and financial disclosures.</li><li>Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and regulatory requirements.</li></ul>Team Collaboration &amp; Support<ul><li>Support junior accountants and guide them on tax and accounting issues.</li><li>Collaborate with other departments (procurement, sales, logistics) for GST-related issues.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Education: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.</li><li>Experience: Minimum 7 years in accounting with strong exposure to GST compliance.</li><li>Technical Skills:</li><li>Proficiency in Tally Software</li><li>Knowledge of GST portal and e-invoicing/e-way bill system</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities</li><li>High attention to detail and accuracy</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience in trading or service industries.</li><li>Hands-on experience with GST audits or litigation.</li></ul>Salary: Competitive, based on experienceEmployment Type: Full-TimeWorking Hours: 09.30am - 06.30pmInterested candidates can Call - 9751132000Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: &#8377;30,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person
