Role Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Purchase Head / Director to lead our procurement and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in vendor management, cost optimization, supply planning, and sourcing strategies across large-scale industries. The role requires strong leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills to drive efficiency and profitability.<ul><li>Key Responsibilities:</li></ul>Develop and implement effective procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.<ul><li>Lead and manage the complete purchasing cycle including vendor selection, negotiation, contracts, and supplier relationship management.</li><li>Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, machinery, spares, and services while maintaining quality standards.</li><li>Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and coordinate with production/operations teams.</li><li>Drive cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing, alternate vendor development, and process improvements.</li><li>Negotiate long-term agreements and contracts with domestic and international suppliers.</li><li>Ensure compliance with statutory, legal, and company policies related to procurement.</li><li>Prepare periodic reports, budgets, and forecasts for senior management.</li><li>Lead and mentor the purchase/procurement team for enhanced productivity and efficiency.</li></ul>Key Requirements:<ul><li>Minimum 10&ndash;15 years of proven experience in industrial procurement/purchase management.</li><li>Prior experience in Sugar, Paper, Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals, Automobile, Beverages, or related industries is mandatory.</li><li>Strong knowledge of supply chain management, vendor development, and cost optimization techniques.</li><li>Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.</li></ul>Leadership skills with experience managing large teams and cross-functional stakeholders.<ul><li>Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;200,000.00 - &#8377;250,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li></ul>
