The 2nd shift Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for providing QA support to the manufacturing and packaging process. This position reports directly to the Quality Assurance Manager.
 
Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>Maintain and control electronic and non-electronic documents according to SOPs</li>
<li>Monitors associates’ adherence to cGMPs.</li>
<li>Thoroughly audit all production records and determine batch disposition</li>
<li>Performs set-up and in-process testing to ensure products meet specifications</li>
<li>Verifies cleanliness of rooms and equipment visually and by ATP testing</li>
<li>Performs AQL testing when required</li>
<li>Performs swabbing for environmental monitoring</li>
<li>Reviews document to ensure compliance to GMPS</li>
<li>Maintains the storage of retain samples and batch records</li>
<li>Involved in determining root causes for quality issues</li>
<li>Coordinates and supports various quality functions and projects as needed</li>
<li>Interact between departments for quality purposes</li>
<li>Data entry of quality data into computer</li>
<li>Filing of all quality testing</li>
<li>Additional duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>Must comply with GMP requirements; specific functions and documents will be discussed in GMP and on the job training</li>
<li>High School Diploma is required, Associate’s degree is preferred</li>
<li>Computer knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office is required</li>
<li>Minimum of 1 years’ experience in quality assurance in a manufacturing setting is required</li>
<li>Project management skills are a plus</li>
<li>Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication and organization skills</li>
<li>Must be able to multi-task</li>
<li>Ability to work autonomously</li>
<li>All other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>

<li>Must be able to lift 50lbs</li>
<li>Must be able to stand for 8 hours</li>
<li>Must be able to work in a physically challenging environment</li>

Quality Assurance Inspector - 2nd shift

The Label Room Attendant receives, inspects, stores, issues, reconciles and destroys labels and inserts. Also, responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and/or Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced.
 
Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>Controls distribution of correct labels to packaging lines</li>
<li>Handles computer transactions related to labels</li>
<li>Physically stores new and reconciled labels and inserts in designated</li>
<li>Performs label reconciliation upon receipt of returned labels</li>
<li>Performs quarantine/hold/reject and destruction duties with completion of associated documentation</li>
<li>Spot checks incoming labels and materials for physical defects</li>
<li>Investigates reconciliation discrepancies</li>
<li>Accounts for inventory through regular cycle counting</li>
<li>Personal responsibility for following safety rules, SOPs and cGMP guidelines</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>Must comply with GMP requirements; specific functions and documents will be discussed in GMP and on the job training</li>
<li>Basic computer skills, familiar with the use of a computer including Microsoft Office applications</li>
<li>Prior manufacturing or packaging experience preferred</li>
<li>Ability to write basic correspondence; proofread</li>
<li>Basic mathematical skills, i.e. counting, addition, subtraction</li>
<li>Must be able to respond to verbal and written instructions and read and write handwritten instructions</li>
<li>Familiar with the use of scanners, two-way radios, calculators, scales Work standing up for long periods</li>
<li>Attention to detail adhering to quality standards</li>
<li>Work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures</li>
<li>High school diploma or equivalency preferred.</li>
<li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.</li>
<li>Work environment may be exposed to powders, chemicals, and allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, milk, dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, soy, fish, and shellfish)..</li>
<li>Ability to work in a physically challenging environment, including bending, twisting, and standing for up to 8 hours</li>

Label Room Attendant 1st Shift

Summary of Role: 
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for supervising production and distribution center (DC) operations in a lean manufacturing, packaging, and warehouse environment; assisting the Senior Department Supervisor, Operations in coordinating the processing of materials and/or products in the manufacturing, packaging, and warehouse facilities; supervising employees while monitoring production output and quality of products; and assuring products meet quality and delivery requirements.
 
Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), company policies, safety policies and practices, quality standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).</li>
<li>Responsible at all times for ensuring that tasks are performed according to food safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines.</li>
<li>Responsible at all times for promoting a safety culture and safety awareness within their area of responsibility. Support and enforce all plant safety policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner.</li>
<li>Under the guidance of the Senior Department Supervisor, Operations, directs shift activities and processes to meet customer needs and assists with the capturing and reporting of plant KPI's.</li>
<li>Communicates with the Senior Department Supervisor, Operations regarding staffing levels, materials, machines, methods and metrics.</li>
<li>Assists with training employees in safety, quality, productivity, and operational requirements.</li>
<li>Provides clear and factual feedback to Senior Department Supervisor, Operations regarding corrective actions.</li>
<li>Leads team in ensuring continuous improvement and lean opportunities are communicated and executed.</li>
<li>Responsible for ensuring that all sanitation and good housekeeping procedures and guidelines are followed.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>HS Diploma or GED; Associates degree preferred.</li>
<li>Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience, including leadership responsibility, required.</li>
</ul>
Key Competencies & Attributes: 
<ul>
<li>Excellent communications skills – ability to communicate clearly and concisely in multiple media – verbal, written, etc.</li>
<li>Ability to prioritize work assignments in a fast-paced work environment, calm under pressure and flexibility to direct work force and adapt to changing schedules as appropriate.</li>
<li>Experience with MS Office Suite. SAP experience a plus.</li>
<li>Knowledge of production operation, including equipment, materials, workflow, etc.</li>
<li>Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality at all times and in all situations.</li>
<li>Ability to maintain punctuality and predictable attendance.</li>
</ul>
WORKING CONDITIONS: 
<ul>
<li>Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment and clean room attire.</li>
<li>Moderate physical activity, requires standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day and up to twelve (12) hours per shift.</li>
<li>Must be able to lift and carry items weighing 50 pounds.</li>
<li>Must be able to perform work onsite and be comfortable in a light industrial environment, including some exposure to non-toxic dust.</li>
</ul>
Shift Schedule : Friday to Sunday and every other Thursday 5PM to 5AM
