Position Description:</b></div><div>
The Occupational Health Technician will plan, coordinate, and supervise all components of a worksite injury management and health improvement program for employees on a full-time basis. They will work under the direction of the Onsite Innovations Medical Director to carry out activities in the following areas: injury prevention and evaluation, OSHA emergency/first aid treatment, health education and worksite health promotion and marketing activities.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Position Responsibilities:</b></div><ul><li>
Responding to emergencies efficiently and promptly.</li><li>
Administering basic first aid and medical support and assessing the nature and extent of injuries/illnesses.</li><li>
Effectively communicating with medical professionals and treatment facilities to obtain instructions regarding further action and following up accordingly.</li><li>
Effectively communicating, receiving and following a Medical Control Officer and carrying out patient care plans given by the physician/Medical Director</li><li>
Effectively communicating with client and site personnel regarding any worksite incidents, hazards, etc.</li><li>
Demonstrating a strong orientation towards team work and the ability to understand the importance of team coordinated efforts.</li><li>
Daily site safety walks (3 per day) to review the constantly changing worksite environment and identifying, reporting on and escalating site hazards accordingly.
</li><li>Create an environment of trust and caring, which allows workers to take responsibility to reduce or eliminate actions or behaviors under their control that contribute to injury and illness.</li><li>
Communicate regularly with safety personnel regarding rehab and injury prevention activities.</li><li>
Attend meetings and serve on committees as requested.</li></ul><div><b>
Position Qualifications</b><b>:</b></div><ul><li>
Certification - State and/or National (Proof of reciprocity required)</li><li>
2+ years minimum experience</li><li>
Construction background or previous knowledge is a plus</li><li>
Knowledge of OSHA Recordability and worker&rsquo;s compensation a plus</li></ul><div><b>
Position Requirements:
</b></div><ul><li>Able to lift 40+ pounds
</li><li>Able to lift and/or transport injured patients as needed</li><li>
Able to respond to emergency injuries</li><li>
OSHA 30 Construction Certification required</li><li>
Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification</li><li>
Transport or First Responder experience a plus</li><li>
Willing to travel to various client locations</li><li>
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with client and employees</li><li>
Proficient with MS Office</li></ul><p>

Salaried ranges listed are for full time (40 hour) employees. Additional pay such as incentive, GAP, overtime, and stipends are subject to the rules of each program and may not be available in all locations. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.</p>
Minimum Salary/Wage: USD $28.00/Hr.</div>
