We&rsquo;re not looking for someone to not only push buttons &mdash; we want someone interested in the craft of machining, continuous improvement, and learning new equipment and processes.What You&rsquo;ll Be Working OnYou&rsquo;ll primarily be setting up and operating a Haas VF-4SS equipped with a TRT210 trunnion (full 5-axis). Our work involves a variety of precision-machined components, requiring attention to detail, strong setup skills, and a solid understanding of machining principles.Depending on experience and interest, there will also be opportunities to work with CNC turning equipment and Swiss-style machines.Responsibilities<ul><li>Set up and operate CNC milling machines and CNC lathes</li><li>Program and modify CNC programs using CAM software</li><li>Run and troubleshoot jobs independently</li><li>Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&amp;T</li><li>Select tooling, make offsets, and optimize machining processes</li><li>Use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and indicators</li><li>Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot machining issues</li><li>Maintain quality standards while working efficiently and safely</li><li>Assist with assembly, finishing, or secondary operations as needed</li><li>Contribute to a clean, organized, and team-oriented shop environment</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Experience with CNC milling (3-axis required; 5-axis strongly preferred)</li><li>Ability to independently set up and run CNC equipment</li><li>Strong understanding of blueprint reading and machining practices</li><li>Familiarity with CNC programming and CAM software</li><li>Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills</li><li>Experience with Fanuc, HAAS, &amp; Mitsubishi, controls is a plus</li><li>Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and grow</li></ul>Big Plus (But Not Required)Experience with turning or interest in learning itFamiliarity with Swiss/screw machines such as:<ul><li>Citizen Cincom A16</li><li>Star SR-20JII Type B (HFT)</li><li>Citizen Cincom L20 Type 10</li><li>Fusion 360</li><li>Solid Works</li><li>Solid Cam</li></ul>Why Join Us?<ul><li>Small team where your work has a direct impact</li><li>Opportunity to expand into turning and Swiss machining</li><li>Flexible, supportive environment without corporate red tape</li><li>Steady work and long-term growth potential</li><li>Variety of interesting precision projects</li><li>A shop culture focused on craftsmanship, improvement, and teamwork</li></ul>If you&rsquo;re looking for a place where you can continue building your skills while doing meaningful precision work with a good team, we&rsquo;d love to hear from you.
