We are seeking a dynamic and experienced PR and Communications Specialist to lead the development and execution of a comprehensive communication strategy across our shopping mall operating assets. The role is pivotal in ensuring consistent brand positioning, voice, and visibility across all communication channels&mdash;offline and online&mdash;while driving public relations, corporate social responsibility, and community engagement initiatives.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy and &ldquo;umbrella guidelines&rdquo; to ensure brand consistency across all platforms.</li><li>Execute communication strategies and PR activities that position the centre as a destination of choice, aligned with the Annual Marketing Plan and brand objectives.</li><li>Plan, manage, and evaluate PR campaigns, measuring results against annual targets.</li><li>Leverage events, movie premieres, cross-promotions, and retailer partnerships to maximize positive PR exposure.</li><li>Act as the primary liaison with PR and social media agencies, tenants, and media partners to maintain brand alignment.</li><li>Support tourism-related initiatives, including travel and trade shows, exhibitions, and cross-promotions; build and maintain relationships with travel and trade media.</li><li>Oversee the development and execution of newsletters, email campaigns, website, mobile apps, and online channels.</li><li>Create and manage social media content, ensuring strong audience engagement and positive community sentiment.</li><li>Monitor competitor communications across offline, online, and social media platforms.</li><li>Work closely with leasing and specialty leasing teams to align retailer offers, sales collaterals, and partnerships with brand messaging.</li><li>Develop and implement CSR strategies, identifying key audiences and community groups to engage through impactful campaigns and events.</li><li>Collaborate with government and community organizations on CSR activations and track outcomes.</li><li>Prepare periodic reports and insights on PR and communication campaigns for management review and decision-making.</li><li>Ensure compliance with the organization&rsquo;s Code of Conduct, policies, and values, serving as an ambassador of United Developers&rsquo; culture.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.</li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience in PR, communications, or marketing, preferably within retail, shopping malls, or hospitality.</li><li>Strong understanding of PR, media relations, digital communications, and CSR initiatives.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is mandatory).</li><li>Proficiency in social media platforms, online marketing, and digital content creation.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.</li><li>Creative thinker with a strong eye for detail and brand consistency.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

PR and Communications Specialist

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Events and Promotions Specialist to join our Marketing team. The role is responsible for assisting the Marketing Manager in developing, supervising, and ensuring the timely execution of the Place Vend&ocirc;me Qatar Marketing Plan, including events and promotional campaigns.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Work closely with the Marketing Manager to develop the mechanics of each campaign as scheduled in the yearly mall marketing calendar of events and promotions and ensure its timely execution as per plan.</li><li>Develop RFPs for events and handle proposals and selection process. Liaise with the malls Legal, Finance and Marketing team to execute the approved events.</li><li>Interface with the Guest Services Team to reach the objectives set for redemptions and develop reports as requested, in addition, liaise with the Guest Services team to provide / brief on all events and promotion campaigns and ensure their full support towards implementation and redemption.</li><li>Liaise with the Guest Services Team to produce a comprehensive Guest Services briefing pack on a timely basis outlining various on-going and upcoming events and promotions campaigns.</li><li>Assist the Manager Marketing in timely organizing of retailers meetings and vendors and ad-hoc meetings as and when required.</li><li>Conduct pre and post analysis for each event and promotion campaign and ensure to maintain record of achievements in management report. In addition, handle the documentation and filing system of each campaign as per the company&rsquo;s internal audit standard and requirements.</li><li>Ensure the development of each campaign&rsquo;s brief with the Advertising and Social Media Agencies, being their point of contact and ensure its timely implementation.</li><li>Conduct daily mall tours to ensure that Guest Services and Retailer&rsquo;s redemption performance are in line with the objectives set for various promotional campaigns.</li><li>In charge for the in-mall branding for the campaigns and work closely with the specialty leasing to book the required space/required space/media.</li><li>In charge of events set up and execution, work closely with the Mall Ops and suppliers to ensure timely and quality execution, including conducting regular retailers&rsquo; meetings and work closely with Anchors and destination brands to promote cross promotions and key events in the mall.</li><li>Provide all necessary data / reports on a periodic basis pertaining to Events and Promotion campaigns to the Manager Marketing for review, resolutions of issues and prompt decision making.</li><li>Ensure compliance with the shopping malls Code of Conduct, Departmental policies and HR Policies and Procedures at all times.</li><li>Be the advocate and ambassador of aligning and cascading the United Developers values across and ensure that it is adhered to and exhibit the same all the time.</li></ul>SKILLS:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.</li><li>5 - 7 years&rsquo; experience in events, promotions, or shopping centre marketing.</li><li>Strong organizational and project management skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Experience in working with external agencies, vendors, and cross-functional teams.</li><li>Attention to detail with strong reporting and analytical abilities.</li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Events and Promotions Specialist

The Commercial Manager plays a critical role in overseeing procurement processes, budgeting, cost management, and invoicing functions to ensure operational efficiency, financial compliance, and value creation. The role ensures that all commercial activities align with organizational policies, financial controls, and strategic objectives.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES &amp; ACCOUNTABILITIES:Procurement &amp; Vendor Management<ul><li>Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including tendering, supplier selection, contract negotiation, and purchase order management.</li><li>Ensure compliance with the approved Procurement Policy and contribute to its periodic updates.</li><li>Coordinate with department heads to forecast procurement needs and plan sourcing strategies accordingly.</li><li>Maintain an approved vendor list with periodic evaluation of vendor performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery timelines.</li><li>Support digital procurement platforms such as Yardi Procure-to-Pay or equivalent systems.</li></ul>Budgeting &amp; Cost Control<ul><li>Assist in the preparation, consolidation, and review of departmental budgets.</li><li>Monitor actual expenditures against budgeted figures and prepare variance analysis reports.</li><li>Track project-based costs and support cost-saving initiatives across departments.</li><li>Provide cost estimates and financial insights for procurement and operational planning.</li></ul>Invoicing &amp; Financial Operations<ul><li>Supervise the preparation, verification, and timely issuance of purchase orders, GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), and supplier invoices.</li><li>Oversee invoice entry and early-stage approvals in the financial system to ensure accuracy and timeliness.</li><li>Coordinate with the finance department for the timely processing of payments and reconciliation of vendor accounts.</li><li>Maintain records of invoices, contracts, and supporting documentation for internal audits and reporting.</li></ul>Reporting &amp; Analysis<ul><li>Generate monthly commercial reports including procurement status, budget utilization, and vendor performance.</li><li>Develop dashboards and reporting tools to track KPIs related to procurement efficiency, cost savings, and invoice turnaround times.</li><li>Identify and flag any irregularities, overspending, or non-compliance in commercial transactions.</li></ul>Compliance &amp; Risk Management<ul><li>Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements.</li><li>Work closely with internal audit and finance teams to address audit findings and improve control measures.</li><li>Identify and mitigate risks related to suppliers, pricing, and contract performance.</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS &amp; EXPERIENCE:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.</li><li>Minimum 5&ndash;7 years of experience in a commercial, procurement, or finance role; real estate or retail sector experience preferred.</li><li>Experience with ERP systems such as Yardi, Oracle, or SAP is highly desirable</li></ul>KEY SKILLS:<ul><li>Strong knowledge of procurement practices, financial systems, and budget management.</li><li>Analytical mindset with excellent Excel and financial modeling skills.</li><li>Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in managing invoices and budget reports.</li><li>Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.</li><li>Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Commitment to ethical sourcing and financial integrity</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
