Job Title: Computer Hardware Engineer &ndash; Retail Tech SupportLocation: Hill-Cart rd, Beside Vinayak Hotel, SiliguriAbout the Role Placewell Retail is seeking a skilled Computer Hardware Engineer to join our siliguri outlet. The role involves providing technical support, diagnosing and repairing laptops/desktops, and ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient hardware servicing and after-sales support. If you have a strong background in computer hardware troubleshooting and a passion for customer service, this position is for you.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Diagnose and repair laptops, desktops, and related accessories.</li><li>Perform upgrades and part replacements (RAM, SSD, battery, keyboard, etc.).</li><li>Install operating systems, configure drivers, and manage data backup/restoration.</li><li>Deliver on-site technical support to walk-in customers.</li><li>Coordinate with vendors/service centers for warranty claims and replacements.</li><li>Maintain accurate service records and update job cards regularly.</li><li>Support the sales team with technical expertise and product knowledge.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Minimum 2 years of experience in computer hardware/software servicing.</li><li>Proficiency in handling tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair processes.</li><li>Strong understanding of Windows OS, drivers, and basic networking.</li><li>Familiarity with brands such as HP, Dell, Lenovo, Acer, and Apple (Mac) preferred.</li><li>Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and Nepali will be an added advantage.</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Competitive salary: &#8377;10,000 &ndash; &#8377;15,000 (based on experience).</li><li>Opportunities for certification support and skill development.</li><li>Career growth prospects within a reputed retail brand.</li><li>Supportive and collaborative work environment.</li></ul>Work Details<ul><li>Work Hours: 10:30 AM &ndash; 8:30 PM</li><li>Weekly Off: Sunday</li><li>Job Type: Full-time</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;12,000.00 - &#8377;20,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Computer hardware: 1 year (Required)</li><li>CCTV: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Location:<ul><li>Siliguri, West Bengal (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
