 Plaid&rsquo;s Banking &amp; Wealth team partners with financial institutions to modernize digital banking, payments, and wealth experiences. As an Inside Sales Rep / Associate AE, you will drive early-stage pipeline, shepherd financial institutions through discovery, and own the closing process for smaller deals. You&rsquo;ll collaborate closely with senior AEs, Solutions Engineering, and cross-functional partners to help banks, credit unions, and wealth platforms adopt Plaid&rsquo;s connectivity, identity, payments, and data solutions.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Qualify inbound interest and proactively source new opportunities across banks, credit unions, and wealth platforms
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct deep discovery tailored to regulated industries and identify relevant use cases such as account opening, ACH transfers, identity verification, and wealth aggregation.

 Own and close smaller deals (&le; $100K ARR) independently or with support from your manager and field AE.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage full-cycle motions for lower-complexity sales, including scoping, pricing, negotiation, and contract execution.

 Partner with senior AEs on larger, multi-stakeholder deals.
 </li>

 Assist senior AEs with early-stage qualification and strategy and qualification

 Craft tailored value narratives for financial institutions and support product demonstrations.

 The Plaid Account Management team in the Banking &amp; Wealth Segment leverages our deep technical, product, and industry knowledge to help our banking, wealth, and insurance cohort of customers build and scale amazing applications. We act as partners, advisors, and advocates for our customers to help shape how consumers and businesses interact with their finances.
 
 
 Plaid is looking for an experienced customer-facing professional to manage and grow our relationships with a portfolio of high-potential, strategic customers. The right candidate has the ability to grow a customer&rsquo;s revenue, build strong partnerships with their customers, develop a deep understanding of their priorities, motives, and key drivers, and is solutions oriented. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for your customers and will work with them on all stages of integration, scaling, product expansion, and partnership management. You will be responsible for owning and growing revenue (cross-selling, up-selling, increasing product utilization, and senior stakeholder management).

 Qualifications

 Experience: 2 to 4 years of software engineering experience, with a proven track record of building and shipping complex backend systems or platforms. Experience designing and scaling distributed systems is highly desired.

 Strong Coding Skills: Proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language (e.g. Go, Python, Java, C++). Our core services are built largely in Go, so experience with Go is a plus. You write clean, efficient, and maintainable code and have solid computer science fundamentals.

 Distributed Systems &amp; Problem Solving: Deep understanding of system design and algorithms. Hands-on experience with designing, building, and operating distributed systems or microservices architectures at scale.
