About our Clinical Trainer I position

Under the supervision and direction of the Area Services Director, analyzes, coordinates and facilitates the training needs of non-licensed staff members; provides HIPAA compliant, gold standard customer service and support to patients and co-workers by performing, with accuracy and timeliness, a variety of clinical and administrative tasks. Manages and supports a positive learning experience for trainees, residents, interns and externs.

<li>Providing one-on-one training onsite and virtually; utilizes training checklists; reviews competencies; stays current on changes in health center protocol.</li>

<li>Identifying, delivering, and evaluating training for individuals and groups in collaboration with Health Center Manager. Coaching individuals and groups to achieve desired performance outcomes. Assuring training delivery meets clinical standards and guidelines and regulatory compliance requirements.</li>
<li>As requested by supervisor, research, develop, and maintain training plans and materials. Consulting with subject matter experts to suggest content as necessary. Assures that training content meets clinical standards and guidelines and regulatory compliance requirements.</li>
<li>Working with ASD/Clinical Trainer team to assess training needs, identify systems issues and barriers to effective delivery of training to develop cohesion and effectiveness of clinical training programs.</li>
<li>Assuring that all training functions are accurately documented in a timely fashion in HealthLMS; performs audits as needed.</li>
<li>Participating in constructive feedback processes with staff and team and incorporates feedback received to improve performance in the delivery of training programs.</li>
<li>Supporting and encourages the inclusion of residents, interns, and externs into the provision of services within health centers. Acts as a consultant to Clinical Services Leadership to communicate and implement best practices to support a positive learning experience.</li>

<b>Minimum Qualifications:</b><br>

The Clinical Trainer will regularly travel to provide in-person onboarding, education, and ongoing staff development at our locations in Indianapolis (Georgetown), Bloomington, Lafayette, New Albany, Lexington, and Louisville. Candidates should be comfortable with frequent regional travel and possess reliable transportation to meet the needs of the role.

Back Office Clinic Assistant

<div><p><b>The Virginia League for Planned Parenthood is seeking a Health Care Assistant for our Hampton Clinic!
</b></p><p>The position supports all aspects of health center activity and service delivery, including patient triage and education, pre-op care, support of licensed staff, performance of waived laboratory tests and assisting with a variety of office duties. This is a fast paced work environment, so we are seeking a candidate who possesses strong time management and organizational skills.</p>
<div><p>Two years experience in the medical field, in a medical office and with patient care/education is required. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent.</p>
<p>Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred but equivalent certifications such as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Phlebotomist, Patient Care Technicians will also be considered as comparable education. Similar positions not requiring a certification will be recognized as equivalent experience as long as required length of experience is met.</p>
<p><b>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (may include some or all of the following):</b></p>
<ul><li>Prepare rooms, supplies and equipment prior to each clinic session and between patients; monitor inventory and report supply needs.</li>

<li>Submit new and refill orders to pharmacy</li>
<li>Participate in patient follow-up systems as directed, including processing of lab results, patient reminders and patient callbacks.</li>
<li>Capture the most important factors discussed during the patient&rsquo;s visit by way of scribing for the provider. Chart the patient&rsquo;s visit: enter any prescriptions; enter any referrals; enter any ordered lab work.</li>

Position Summary</b></p><p>
Under the direction of the Health Center Manager, the Health Care Assistant (HCA) will work as a member of a team that operates from established procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency in the day-to-day operations of the reproductive health center and facilitate high quality, inclusive patient care.<b>

Essential Duties</b></p><div><ul><li>
Maintain patient medical records in good order, utilizing standard language and approved abbreviations and following accepted medical standards for charting.</li><li>
During each patient visit obtain/record accurate vital signs and interview patients to obtain medical history, identify specific visit needs and/or medical problems and answer patient questions. Arrange referrals as necessary.</li><li>
