<br>Providing Planned Parenthood Patient Education Sheets, (PES) and Informed Consent Forms, (ICF) Client and offers Planned Parenthood services or community resources for identified patient’s needs.
<br>Optimizing patient satisfaction and efficient use of provider time by providing patient education to each type of visit, ensuing that exam rooms are adequately stocked and prepared prior to visit.
<br>Completing patient intake, preparing exam rooms, rooming patients, assisting the clinician, performing lab tests, providing injections, ordering and maintaining supplies, and variety of task which require demonstrating a knowledge of universal precautions, sterile techniques and hazardous waste disposal.

For an individual coming into PPSAT, we set a pay generally between the minimum and the midpoint of the salary grade and based on candidate qualifications. Community Health Educator

<p><b>Overview</b></p><p>We are seeking a financial leader who will supervise staff, prepare annual budgets, monitor financial performance, analyze general ledger accounts, administer the 401k plan, and perform business analytics in coordination with the VP of Finance. The Controller will work closely with other departments to provide financial expertise and is involved in organization-wide and department-driven initiatives with high visibility across the organization. The incumbent will oversee external audits and all process improvements that result from audit findings or recommendations. The primary purpose of the Controller is to ensure the production of timely and accurate financial reports.</p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Supervises and provides guidance to Finance team members to ensure work is completed accurately and timely. Reviews and approves journal entries prepared by Finance team members.</li><li>Assists VP of Finance with PPGP&rsquo;s annual budgeting process. Monitors execution of the budget to ensure that revenues and expenses are properly allocated among companies, departments, health centers and service lines. Complies, reviews and delivers monthly budget to actual performance reports. Conducts quarterly meetings with people who have budget responsibility to review significant variances.</li><li>Monitors &ldquo;cash on hand&rdquo; and ensures transfers are made between bank accounts as needed.</li><li>Develops budgets and/or prepares all necessary financial documents for grants being submitted to funders.</li><li>Produces monthly financial statements and related financial analysis. Prepares reports and projections based on the analysis.</li><li>Working with the Grant Manager in the Development Department, tracks and monitors grants in compliance with funding restrictions and ensures related expenses are tracked appropriately. Conducts regular meetings with people who have grant management responsibility to review spend down on grants.</li><li>Reviews general ledger coding of revenue and expenses monthly and posts corrections as necessary. Performs monthly analysis of balance sheet accounts and works with VP of Finance to resolve any identified issues.</li><li>Provides creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve PPGP&rsquo;s financial performance.</li><li>Assists VP of Finance and applicable consultants with annual financial and single audits including preparation of required schedules such as 990s.</li><li>Assists VP of Finance with preparing materials for distribution to the Operations, Finance and Audit Committee and to the full Board of Directors prior to meetings.</li><li>Assists VP of Finance in managing outsourced billings and the collection function. Ensures full scope of revenue processes are designed to maximize revenue. Performs monthly reconciliations between billing and accounting systems. Prepares monthly estimates of bad debt and contractual allowances. Manages patient refunds process.</li><li>Serves as one of the 401k plan administrators. Monitors 401k plan activity for compliance with Federal guidelines. About our Central Follow-Up Specialist position
<br><br>
The Centralized Follow Up Assistant is a non-licensed member of the clinical and administrative Centralized Follow Up [CFU] team that provides patient follow up management and affiliate health services in accordance with Planned Parenthood policies, protocols, and procedures.
<br><br>
What will you be doing!
<br><ul>
<li>General: Works in accordance with affiliate Medical Standards & Guidelines [MS&Gs]; provide education and advice to patients within affiliate protocols and scope of practice as defined below.</li>
<li>Test Results: When patients reach out to CFU to request their lab results, the CFU Assistant can notify patients of normal test results (with the exception of Cervical Cancer Screening [CCS] tests and imaging results) and document that notification accordingly. The CFU Assistant will task the licensed CFU team members to review normal CCS results, normal imaging results, and all abnormal results to connect with the patient to review those results</li>
<li>Notifications and Reminders: Send 3rd notification letters and reminder letters for recommended treatment/follow up/referrals and document their completion.</li>
<li>Scheduling Appointments: Schedule appointments for patients for specific treatment, follow up of abnormal lab results, or in-house referrals and document their completion.</li>
<li>Confidential Morbidity Report [CMRs]: Complete and transmit CMRs for all positive reportable communicable diseases (chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, herpes, HIV) to the county and/or state Public Health Department. Document CMRs accordingly.</li>
<li>Expedited Partner Therapy [EPT]: Transmit or phone in EPT to preferred pharmacies for patients’ partners in chlamydia, gonorrhea, and trichomoniasis cases, according to state rules and regulations. Document EPT prescriptions accordingly.</li>
<li>Mailing Documents to Patients: Print, pack, stamp, and mail hard copy letters via USPS in a HIPAA-compliant manner.</li>
<li>After-Hours Consulting Nurse Communication: Scan in all after hours consulting nurse faxes into the Electronic Health Record [EHR] under the correct patient and task the appropriate CFU Triage RN for review and care coordination, as needed.</li>
<li>My Chart Communication: Respond to MyChart messages that request non-clinical needs (ie, work excuse note, medical records requests) or normal lab results (see above).</li>
<li>Prior Authorization: Review, process, and notify patients of Prior Authorization claims for medications and procedures.</li>
<li>Medical Records: Abstract incoming medical records and task them to CFU Advance Practice Clinicians [APCs] to review; respond to incoming Release of Information [ROI] requests; forward ROI requested by subpoena to the Quality department for legal review. Document receipt or release of medical records accordingly.</li>
<li>HEDIS: Review and respond to HEDIS requests from payors.</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned; nothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.</li>
