 Position Overview
 
 
 
 As a QA Engineer at Plat.ai, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our Loan Origination System. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams&mdash;including developers, product managers, and data scientists&mdash;to design, develop, and execute test strategies that guarantee a top-notch user experience. Your work will directly impact our commitment to providing a robust and efficient LOS solution to clients.
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using automation tools/frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, Mocha, etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure that the automated tests cover the required functionality and are robust enough to be reusable.
 </li>
 <li>
 Enhance and maintain the existing automation framework or develop a new framework if required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure the framework is scalable, maintainable, and easy for other testers to utilize.
 </li>
 <li>
 Execute automated test suites and analyze the results.
 </li>
 <li>
 Debug and refine automation scripts as required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Log and track defects found during automated testing.
 </li>
 <li>
 Report on test automation coverage, effectiveness, and areas of risk.
 </li>
 <li>
 Research and evaluate new testing tools and techniques.Work closely with manual testers to identify test cases that are candidates for automation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with developers to ensure that the application is automation-friendly.
 </li>
 <li>
 Suggest and implement improvements in the automation process.
 </li>
 <li>
 Depending on the release periods, be responsible for developing scripts for performance, load, and stress testing using tools like JMeter or Gatling.
 </li>
 <li>
 Keep up with the latest trends in test automation, tools, techniques, and best practices to ensure that the most effective testing methods are employed
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain company culture
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Requirements:
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 2-5 years of experience in software test automation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in creating, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts.
 </li>
 <li>
 Exposure to the complete software development and testing lifecycle.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong programming skills in languages commonly used in test automation, such as JavaScript, Java, C#, or Python,
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency with automation tools like Cypress, Playwright, Mocha, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, or similar.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with Continuous Integration tools (e.g., Github Actions, Jenkins).
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
 </li>
 <li>
 Understanding of web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs) and database fundamentals.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) or TDD (Test-Driven Development) approaches, if relevant.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in developing or working with test automation frameworks.
 </li>
 <li>
 Hands-on experience with different platforms (e.g., Web, Mobile, Desktop).
 </li>
 <li>
 Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong communication skills to collaborate with developers, manual testers, and other stakeholders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Attention to detail and a methodical approach to troubleshooting and resolving issues.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with CI/CD principles and tools, and experience integrating automated tests into these pipelines.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with performance testing tools (like JMeter or Gatling) could be a plus.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to quickly learn new tools, languages, or methodologies as required by the job.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience working in teams, preferably in agile or Scrum environments, and collaborating with cross-functional roles.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to maintain comprehensive documentation related to the automation process, scripts, frameworks, and results.
 </li>
