Job Title: Senior Database Engineer

Position Overview:
Plateau GRP is seeking a Senior Database Engineer to support the a platform for a U.S. Air Force initiative. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring data integrity, optimizing database performance, conducting security assessments, and researching emerging database technologies to enhance system architecture.
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Analyze solution designs to ensure data integrity, optimize performance, and identify potential bottlenecks.</li><li>
Collaborate with developers to optimize database queries, tune configurations, and implement performance enhancements.</li><li>
Monitor database performance using appropriate tools, troubleshoot issues, and recommend solutions for scaling and data volume changes.</li><li>
Conduct code security assessments to ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.</li><li>
Research and recommend new database features and technologies to improve system performance and architecture.</li></ul>
Requirements:

Required Qualifications:<ul><li>
Minimum 5 years of experience required</li><li>
Bachelors degree</li><li>
One of the following: CASP+CE, CISSP, or CSSLP (IASE II)</li><li>
Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and database performance tuning.</li><li>
Experience with data modeling and security auditing.</li><li>
Strong understanding of Oracle database technologies.</li><li>
Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively and work collaboratively with development teams.</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>
Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)</li><li>
7+ years of experience in database engineering</li></ul>
