Position Overview
Plateau is seeking a highly experienced Program Manager (PM) with deep expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI), cloud technologies, and big data environments. The PM will serve as the primary point of contact for the Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer&rsquo;s Representative (COR), holding full responsibility for the execution, quality, and delivery of all services under the Task Order (TO).
This role requires both executive-level leadership and hands-on technical fluency. The PM will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure timely and reliable performance, and maintain management authority over all personnel assigned to the TO. The selected candidate will have the authority to commit the organization and make binding decisions in response to client issues, concerns, and emerging priorities.
Requirements:

Key Responsibilities
The PM must possess the following:
A mastery of knowledge and skill working as an integrator for a multi-cloud environment or multi-cloud solutions to meet business requirements; ability to provide expert technical advice, guidance, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences on critical issues; use creative thinking to apply new strategies and developments to previously-unsolvable problems; and make decisions or recommendations that significantly influence important agency policies and programs<ul><li>
Experience with big data operational execution and delivery</li><li>
Experience with system development methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, Lean, DevOps, Kanban, Extreme Programming (XP), Spiral, and Rapid Application Development (RAD)</li><li>
Expertise in big data principles by selecting and using the most efficient data processing hardware, software, and analytical approach</li><li>
Current Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification</li><li>
Current Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification</li><li>
Current Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) Certification</li><li>
Current CompTIA Cloud+ Certification</li></ul>

Program Manager

<div>Description:

Plateau is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead, coordinate, and oversee program execution in support of the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) at Scott Air Force Base. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, proven program management expertise, and deep familiarity with DoD environments to ensure successful delivery of mission critical services.
This position is onsite at Scott Air Force Base.
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Serve as the primary point of contact for government stakeholders, ensuring alignment between Plateau and USTRANSCOM leadership.</li><li>
Lead all aspects of program planning, execution, performance monitoring, and reporting.</li><li>
Manage multidisciplinary teams, including technical, functional, and subcontractor personnel.</li><li>
Develop schedules, resource plans, risk management strategies, and performance metrics.</li><li>
Ensure all deliverables meet contractual, regulatory, and mission requirements.</li><li>
Oversee financial performance&mdash;including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control&mdash;to maintain program profitability and adherence to contract parameters.</li><li>
Facilitate regular program reviews, status updates, and issue escalation/resolution.</li><li>
Maintain compliance with DoD cybersecurity, information assurance, and operational standards.</li><li>
Guide process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and mission responsiveness.</li></ul>
Requirements:

Required Qualifications<ul><li>
Active DoD Secret Clearance (must be current).</li><li>
CompTIA Security+ (DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher).</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business, Management, IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).</li><li>
Minimum 7&ndash;10 years of experience managing complex DoD or federal programs.</li><li>
Demonstrated experience leading teams in support of mission critical operations.</li><li>
Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem solving skills.</li><li>
Proven ability to manage scope, schedules, budgets, and performance metrics.</li></ul>
Desired Qualifications<ul><li>
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.</li><li>
Experience supporting USTRANSCOM, Air Mobility Command (AMC), or other logistics/transportation-focused DoD commands.</li><li>
Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes, contracting, and program governance.</li><li>
Experience with Agile methodologies and digital transformation initiatives.</li><li>
Knowledge of cybersecurity compliance frameworks and RMF.</li></ul>
