Job descriptionWe are looking for a Quality Control Officer in the food industry who can develop plans and procedures for testing food quality. He/She maintains standards by verifying tests and ISO audits comply with food safety regulations and requirements. He/She develops standard operating procedures (SOPs) aligned with the regulations and good manufacturing practices (GMPs). He/She also develops regulatory requirements and guidelines in food safety management and control, such as ISO standards and Hazards and Critical Control Points (HACCP) system.ResponsibilitiesVisiting the central kitchen and Cafe outlets for inspections of prominent bacteria's in meat items, Pathogens in Seafood (parasites, eggs, vibrio), product quality, food safety, sanitationPerform quality control checks and generate QC reports for incoming and outgoing products to ensure that they meet quality and safety standards in accordance to SFA's regulationsPerform sensory evaluation for incoming raw materials to ensure consistent quality and for product improvementHandling Auditing of ISO documents, Preparing and updating the processesConduct QC inspection for ISO Audits, Food Sample checks and customer feedbacksProvide technical and quality related assistance to other departments, assist in marketing department&rsquo;s recipe, videos and photo shoot when requiredPerform regular internal and external product quality control and monitor their quality so as to provide timely feedback to category/supplier for improvementCompile/archive QC report related documentsAssist to maintain, source and purchase QC equipment and consumables when requiredAssist in product development or product improvement sensory evaluation preparations when requiredAssist sales or other departments with product specification, certification and quality related document requestsRequirements and skillsMinimum Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology or related disciplinesAt least 3 - 5 years of relevant working experience in the food industry QA/QC environment, Inspections, Auditing and reportingISO Standards, Auditing, Preparing, updating and implementationPossess good interpersonal skills, self-motivated &amp; methodicalPossesses excellent analytical skills and sound judgement to establish critical guidelines, parameters and proceduresShould work well in a team and possess strong communication skills to interact with and guide others effectivelyProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel &amp; PowerPoint)Job Types: Full-time, PermanentApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Are you in Kuwait&gt;</li><li>What is your age?</li><li>What is your current Salary?</li><li>What is your notice period to join?</li><li>What kind of visa do you have (Ahli, Small projects, Factory, VIP)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
