Guests can be rest assured of a luxurious experience at budgeted prices.JOB OVER VIEWWe are seeking an Organized, Proactive, self motivated and details oriented candidate who would perform the role ofThe Maintenance Assistant is supporting the maintenance team in ensuring the proper functioning of all hotel facilities, equipment, and infrastructure. This role involves performing routine inspections, minor repairs, and assisting with preventive maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff.RESPOSIBILITIES &amp; DUTIESI. General Maintenance &amp; Repairs:&middot; Assist in routine inspections and maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.&middot; Perform minor repairs on furniture, fixtures, and equipment.&middot; Respond to maintenance requests from hotel staff and guests in a timely manner.&middot; Ensure proper functioning of doors, locks, lighting, and other essential facilities.II. Preventive Maintenance&middot; Support the execution of preventive maintenance schedules to minimize breakdowns.&middot; Keep records of maintenance activities and report any major issues to the Maintenance Manager.&middot; Assist in servicing HVAC systems, water heaters, and other essential equipment.III. Plumbing &amp; Electrical Support&middot; Fix minor plumbing issues like clogged drains, leaking faucets, or running toilets.&middot; Replace light bulbs, fuses, and reset circuit breakers as needed.&middot; Assist electricians and plumbers with larger repairs or installations.IV. Safety &amp; Compliance&middot; Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent workplace hazards.&middot; Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations, including checking fire extinguishers and emergency exits.&middot; Assist in maintaining security systems and emergency response equipment.V. Housekeeping &amp; Grounds Maintenance&middot; Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools.&middot; Assist with minor landscaping or outdoor maintenance tasks when required.&middot; Support housekeeping or other departments with furniture moving or repairs as needed.VI. Inventory &amp; Reporting&middot; Monitor maintenance supplies and request restocking when necessary.&middot; Document maintenance activities and report any major equipment failures to the supervisor.&middot; Maintain proper logs of work done and assist in generating maintenance reports.QUALIFICATIONS &amp; SKILLS:&middot; High school diploma or equivalent, vocational training in maintenance or a related field is a plus.&middot; 1-2 years of experience in hotel or building maintenance preferred. Freshers can also apply.&middot; Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical repairs.&middot; Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely.&middot; Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.&middot; Good communication and teamwork skills.&middot; Physically fit to handle lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.&middot; Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.WORK ENVIRONMENT:&middot; The role involves working indoors and outdoors in different weather conditions.&middot; Requires occasional lifting of heavy equipment or tools.&middot; May involve working in confined spaces or at heights.Job SummaryWe are seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our team and assist in the upkeep of our facilities.
