 We are expanding our Enterprise &amp; AI Ventures team and seeking a Research Analyst / Associate who will focus on building investment theses, tracking emerging technologies, and producing high-quality research that guides our venture strategy and helps Enterprises stay ahead of disruption.
 
 
 
 What You Will Do

 </li>

 Monitor performance of notable startups, scaleups, and major industry players.

 Track venture investment activity, acquisitions, and partnership trends.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain internal knowledge bases and market maps to guide sourcing and decision-making.
 </li>
 <li>
 Enterprise-Driven Insights
 </li>
 <li>
 Gather intelligence directly from our enterprise ecosystem through interviews, surveys, and feedback loops.
 </li>
 <li>
 Translate enterprise perspectives into reports and buyer-driven insights that inform investment theses and help startups understand customer needs.
 </li>

 Support Investment Process
 </li>
 <li>
 Contribute to company diligence: product analysis, technical reviews, market sizing, customer references.

 Summarize research into clear, data-driven insights for the Ventures team and Enterprises.

 Strategic Exposure
 </li>

 Partner with senior team members to align Enterprise needs with startup opportunities.

 Support occasional events, founder introductions, and content initiatives &mdash; with research at the core of your contributions.

 Collaborate with the Plug and Play team to understand corporate innovation needs and facilitate targeted introductions between startups and corporate partners

 Analytical &amp; Technical: Degree (or self-taught expertise) in computer science, data science, engineering, mathematics, or related field. Able to evaluate technical products and trends.

 Who we&rsquo;re looking for:
 
 
 We&rsquo;re seeking a Junior Corporate Counsel to join Plug and Play&rsquo;s legal team. Working with our globally-recognized start-up accelerator programs worldwide, this Junior Corporate Counsel will gain valuable experience working side by side with our legal, sales, and accounting teams on all aspects of our contract drafting and negotiation processes for our commercial contracts. You will be exposed to a wide range of legal issues that are commonly dealt with by an in-house legal department.
 
 
 The role is particularly well-suited for a recent law school graduate with a strong contract drafting background and experience in a fast-paced environment. We are especially interested in meeting candidates who are academically accomplished, team-oriented, self-motivated, and who possess excellent organizational skills. Prior experience to commercial contracts is a plus.
 
 
 Responsibilities:
 
 
 <ul>

 Assist the legal team in drafting complex commercial agreements, NDAs, and amendments, reviewing third-party documents in accordance with company standards, and managing legal records.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support business teams by identifying and addressing legal and contractual risks, ensuring terms align with company policies and objectives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Facilitate clear and consistent communication with multiple business units, including sales, accounting, operations, and automation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information needed for contract preparation and execution.
 </li>
 <li>
 Communicate with outside counsel and customer&rsquo;s attorneys and representatives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review and summarize key terms of sophisticated commercial contracts for Plug and Play&rsquo;s leadership team.
 </li>
 <li>
 Attend meetings with customer&rsquo;s counsel, outside counsel, and different departments within Plug and Play.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in developing and improving standard form agreements, playbooks, and templates to streamline legal operations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct basic legal research and provide concise summaries to support internal legal initiatives and decision-making.
 </li>
 <li>
 Attend Expos, Demo Days, and other exclusive Plug &amp; Play events.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 In this role, you will:

 Learn the fundamentals of commercial contracting and a wide variety of in-house legal department initiatives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop a deep understanding of commercial contracts, negotiation strategies, and risk analysis.
 </li>

 Work alongside experienced members of our legal team, who will provide guidance and mentorship.
 </li>
 <li>
 As your knowledge and experience increases, you will take ownership of new and different initiatives that align with your interests.
