<div>The Claims Representative, Appraiser is responsible for preparing physical damage estimates on vehicles where a claim has been submitted for first or third party damages. The party will be required to provide a high level of customer service while utilizing measures to control severities. This role would cover, but is not limited to the Bronx, Westchester, Rockland Counties, and Northern NJ.

RESPONSIBILITIES

<li>Survey damages, prepare estimates and negotiate settlements on partial and total losses within their established authority level.</li>

QUALIFICATIONS

<li>Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 to 7 years of NY auto claims appraisal experience.</li>

<li>Adverse conditions are encountered while inspecting vehicles. Incumbent must be able to work outside in inclement weather and drive long distances.</li>
<li>Comfortable completing inspections of damaged vehicles including but not limited to crawling under and around vehicles, inspecting vehicles in tight quarters at body shops and salvage yards, etc.</li>

Sr. Claims Representative, Appraiser

<div>The Casualty Claim Representative will be responsible for the handling of First- and Third-Party Bodily Injury claims in a Personal Lines/Commercial environment for the Plymouth Rock Operation.

RESPONSIBILITIES
<ul>
<li>Initiate prompt contact of all insureds/claimants/witnesses on all new claim assignments to conduct thorough coverage and liability/injury investigations. These investigations might require the representatives take in depth recorded statements to investigate coverage and liability/injury claims.</li>
<li>Analyze, review and interpret policies to assess coverage and liability. Provide advice to Excess and Primary coverage issues.</li>
<li>Conduct field investigations, interviews with insureds, witnesses and claimants while maintaining a pending of represented and unrepresented claimant cases.</li>
<li>Manage and direct outside vendors (Field/Counsel/Surveillance, etc.) to determine what investigation is necessary and give them direction to bring a claim to conclusion. Ensure only necessary work is completed.</li>
<li>Investigate cases timely so that reserves are established and maintained at proper levels. Revise reserves timely based on developments in the course of the claim.
</li><li>Investigate the validity of bodily injury claims being presented by individual insureds/claimants or attorneys representing insureds/claimants. Be aware of certain &ldquo;Red Flags&rdquo; to identify potential fraudulent claims. Refer to SIU for investigation timely.</li>
<li>Handle complex claims to include coverage issues, UM/UIM, TNC, Commercial, Umbrella etc. Also, must have prior litigation handling.</li>
<li>Recognize and investigate subrogation potential.</li>
<li>Negotiate both 1st and 3rd party claims directly with injured parties and/or their attorneys.</li>
<li>Exercises proper judgment and decision making to analyze exposure, determine the proper course of action and make recommendations for final resolution.</li>
<li>Attend litigation proceedings to either represent the company or participate in arbitrations/depositions/settlement conferences/ mediations/ trials.</li>
<li>Attend all internal and external training events as required.

Senior Claims Representative, Bodily Injury: Independent Agent Channel

<div>We are seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer to design and build Generative and Agentic AI systems that transform how our company operates and serves customers. <div>The Field Auto Damage Appraiser is responsible for preparing physical damage estimates on vehicles where a claim has been submitted for first- or third-party damages. This role requires delivering a high level of customer service while effectively managing claim severity and expenses. 
 
This position supports the Independent Agent business of Plymouth Rock and services a Northern and/or parts of Central New Jersey territory. <div>This position is responsible for the handling of Auto Property Total Loss Claims in accordance with NJ Unfair Practices Act. The environment is fast paced with heavy phone work. Claims Representative, Total Loss

<div>The Auto Property Damage Claims Representative is responsible for managing Auto Property Damage claims within our &ldquo;Auto PD Claim Unit.&rdquo; This role demands a high level of customer service, patience, and professionalism while working in a fast-paced environment with significant phone interaction. Strong customer service, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills are essential. The ability to navigate adversarial situations with professionalism is critical. Comparative negligence claim handling experience is needed for this role. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

<li>Policy Analysis:</li>
<li><ul><li>Investigate and interpret policy provisions, endorsements, and conditions to determine coverage for automobile property claims.</li>
<li>Identify and investigate contested coverage claims that may require a roundtable discussion.</li>
</ul></li><li>Claim Investigation:</li>
<li><ul><li>Investigate auto accidents to assess liability by interviewing first- and third-party claimants, witnesses, investigating officers, and other relevant parties.</li>
<li>Secure and analyze pertinent records, documentation, and loss scene information to determine proximate cause, negligence, and damages.</li>
</ul></li><li>Claims Management:</li>
<li><ul><li>Evaluate and adjust reserves as necessary.</li>
<li>Prepare dispatch instructions for field personnel to inspect vehicles.</li>
<li>Negotiate and settle claims within individual authority limits and seek supervisor approval for claims exceeding authority or requiring additional guidance.</li>
<li>Maintain effective follow-up systems on pending files, advising insureds, claimants, and brokers on claim status.</li>
<li>Act as an intermediary between the company, preferred vendors, and customers to resolve disputes.</li>
<li>Ensure adherence to privacy guidelines, laws, and regulations in claims handling.</li>
<li>Backup to Commercial Claims handling.</li>
</ul></li><li>Subrogation and Legal Handling:</li>
<li><ul><li>Investigate and initiate subrogation processes when applicable.</li>
<li>Handle and respond to special civil part lawsuits or intercompany arbitrations related to auto property damage claims.</li>
</ul></li><li>Administrative Duties:</li>
<li><ul><li>Manage a customer-focused phone environment by answering calls, returning voicemails, and responding to emails and text correspondence promptly.</li>
<li>Process incoming and outgoing mail timely and in accordance with state guidelines.</li>
<li>Complete other duties as assigned.</li>

</ul>QUALIFICATIONS
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree required.</li>
</ul><ul><li>A minimum of 2 year of related PD claim experience is required.</li>
<li>Licensed in CT, NH, RI and other foreign states is preferred.</li>
<li>Proficiency in personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.</li>
<li>Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.</li>
<li>Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.</li>
</ul>
SALARY RANGE

The pay range for this position is $50,000 to $65,000 annually. Actual compensation will vary based on multiple factors, including employee knowledge and experience, role scope, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
