EOE.PMMI, Precision Metal Machining, Inc. is a first class 34,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Carlstadt, NJ.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Read and comprehend blueprints and drawings, use appropriate measuring equipment in order to verify manufacturing is to customer specification</li><li>Inspect and test product at various stages of the production process while evaluating statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability</li><li>Generates job specific inspection documentation and assembles completed job packet</li><li>Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability</li><li>Propose and drive improvements to the Quality Management System adhering to policies and procedures</li></ul>Qualification/Requirements:<ul><li>Manufacturing - Machine Shop Experience</li><li>Thorough Understanding and Ability to Read / Interpret Blueprints</li><li>Conceptual Skills, Process Improvement, Verbal Communication, Functional and Technical Skills, Tooling, Coordination</li><li>Measurement Equipment Comprehension (Calipers, Micrometers, CMM, Optical Comparator, Indicators)</li><li>Computer Skills such as Word and Excel a plus</li><li>Self-Motivated, Willing to Grow with PMMI</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
