THE ROLE:We are looking for a Quant Strategist to become the trading brain of our next-generation crypto platform. You will combine trading expertise with quantitative rigor to design, optimize, and validate profitable strategies for scalping, intraday, and algorithmic trading.You will work closely with founders and engineers to:<ul><li>Develop structured, rule-based trading strategies</li><li>Enhance the performance and reliability of our auto-trading engine</li><li>Translate market insights into actionable logic for traders and algorithms</li><li>Ensure all trading frameworks reflect real market behavior</li></ul>This role sits at the intersection of trading, quantitative analysis, and product strategy.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Strategy Development &amp; Trading Systems<ul><li>Design scalping, intraday, breakout, trend, and reversal strategies</li><li>Build indicator-based rule sets (EMA, RSI, MACD, ATR, Bollinger Bands, VWAP, etc.)</li><li>Define stop-loss, take-profit, trailing stops, breakeven, and ATR multipliers</li><li>Maintain a high-quality strategy library within the platform</li></ul>Auto-Trade Bot Support<ul><li>Guide execution logic and risk filters</li><li>Define volatility regimes and micro-trend filters</li><li>Improve bot accuracy and reduce false signals</li><li>Advise on signal validation and trend detection systems</li></ul>Performance Analysis &amp; Optimization<ul><li>Evaluate strategy reliability and profitability</li><li>Detect overfitting, contradictory logic, and weak signals</li><li>Recommend improvements for strategy builder and trading frameworks</li><li>Adapt strategies to changing market regimes</li></ul>Collaboration with Engineering<ul><li>Translate trading insights into technical specifications</li><li>Validate indicator calculations and signal conditions</li><li>Stress-test strategies across multiple assets and timeframes</li></ul>Market &amp; Product Insights<ul><li>Provide insights for content, reports, and scoreboard logic</li><li>Evaluate new features from a trader&rsquo;s perspective</li><li>Help shape the platform into the ultimate tool for active traders</li></ul>KEY REQUIREMENTS:Experience &amp; Knowledge<ul><li>3+ years of trading experience (crypto, forex, futures, or indices; scalping/intraday preferred)</li><li>Strong understanding of indicators, technical analysis, and market structures: EMA/SMA, RSI/Stoch RSI, MACD, ATR, Bollinger Bands, VWAP, support/resistance, trend reversals</li><li>Ability to define structured trading rules and frameworks (e.g., &ldquo;Buy when RSI crosses above 40, price is above EMA-21, ATR(3) &gt; previous ATR(3), and candle closes above previous high&rdquo;)</li><li>Understanding of systematic/algo trading concepts: back testing, risk modeling, signal confirmation, volatility filters</li></ul>Skills &amp; Attributes<ul><li>Logical, structured, and quantitative thinker</li><li>Strong communication and collaboration skills</li><li>Obsession with market behavior and pattern recognition</li><li>Ability to simplify complex trading concepts into actionable rules</li><li>Adaptable to fast-changing product and market requirements</li></ul>Bonus (Optional)<ul><li>Pine Script, Python, or MQL4/5 experience</li><li>Experience at proprietary trading firms</li><li>Knowledge of order flow, liquidity, and trading bot development</li><li>Understanding of machine learning applied to trading</li></ul>Interested candidates can also email their resumes by mentioning the position in the subject line at careers@pncsolutions.techJob Type: Full-timeExperience:<ul><li>Algorithmic Trading: 3 years (Required)</li><li>Python: 3 years (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
