Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Medical Biller to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of Primary care Practice billing, CPT/HCPCS codes, ICD-10 coding, and payer-specific billing guidelines. This role is responsible for accurate claim submission, payment posting, resolving denials, and ensuring timely reimbursement for medical services. 
Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Prepare and submit medical claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers.</li>
<li>Verify accuracy of CPT/HCPCS, ICD-10, and modifiers prior to claim submission.</li>
<li>Review documentation for billing compliance.</li>
<li>Work rejections and denials; correct and resubmit claims as needed.</li>
<li>Follow up on unpaid or underpaid claims to ensure timely reimbursement.</li>
<li>Post payments, adjustments, and reconcile accounts.</li>
<li>Communicate insurance companies regarding claim issues.</li>
<li>Maintain knowledge of payer policies, NCCI edits, LCD/NCD rules, and coverage criteria.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all billing regulations.</li>
<li>Generate and review reports to identify trends, issues, or missing charges.</li></ul> 


Required Qualifications:

<li>High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field a plus.</li>
<li>Experience with EHR/EMR and billing software (specify if needed).</li>
<li>CPC (Certified Professional Coder) certification a plus</li>

Job Summary: The Mobile Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of POD Health&rsquo;s pop-up clinics and providing direct support to Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and other providers. This role involves traveling across the five boroughs of New York, Westchester, and other designated locations to assist with wellness checks, flu, and other vaccinations, as well as employee physicals and screenings. The Medical Assistant will also fulfill key clerical and patient care responsibilities, including registering patients, taking vital signs, assisting with specimen collection, and maintaining an organized clinical environment. This position requires a proactive, compassionate individual who excels in patient interactions and works effectively in mobile and dynamic healthcare settings. 
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. 
 
This is a Field-Based Role requiring the use of your own vehicle. 
Travel Requirement: Requires travel 3-5 days per week, using your own vehicle, to various True Care offices across the five boroughs, Westchester, and other designated locations. This position has a monthly stipend for traveling expenses. 
Key Responsibilities: 
<ul>

Travel to various POD Health and True Care offices across the five boroughs of New York, Westchester, and other designated locations, providing support for employee physicals, screenings, wellness checks, flu, and other vaccinations.</li>
<li>Assist in the setup and smooth operation of pop-up wellness clinics.</li>
<li>Greet and register patients.</li>
<li>Fulfill clerical responsibilities, including verifying insurance eligibility, obtaining diagnostic reports, updating patient demographics, and ensuring all incoming/outgoing referrals are booked and addressed accordingly.</li>
<li>Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and triage calls to the appropriate personnel.</li>
<li>Check all incoming faxes and distribute accordingly.</li>
<li>Make courtesy calls and appointment confirmations and referrals for POD Health, True Care or for office/Urgent Care patients.</li>
<li>Reschedule no-show appointments and input patient data into the EMR system.</li>
<li>Fulfill patient care responsibilities, including taking vital signs, updating patient history, collecting blood, urine, and stool specimens, and assisting providers/Nurse Practitioners (NPs) in the exam room.</li>
<li>Assist and support Nurse Practitioners (NPs) or other providers in patient care, exams, and procedures as needed.</li>
<li>Be responsible for learning the use of all current and future equipment used for patient assessment and diagnosing.</li>
<li>Check expiration dates on materials and medications, discarding expired items.</li>
<li>Complete weekly and monthly inventory for all supplies, medical and office.</li></ul> 


Required Qualifications:

<li>Active driver's license and vehicle to travel across the five boroughs of New York, Westchester, and other designated locations as needed.</li>

Position Summary: The Certified Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant will play a vital role in providing support to a team of nurses and nurse practitioners in delivering exceptional patient care. The role involves monitoring patient vital signs remotely through dashboards, accurately documenting patient information, assisting with patient inquiries, managing medical records, and ensuring compliance with the RPM program and healthcare regulations. 
Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Collaborate with a team of nurses and nurse practitioners to remotely monitor patients' vital signs through dashboards for a remote monitoring program.</li>
<li>Measure and record blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.</li>
<li>Support doctors or nurses during exams.</li>
<li>Perform blood draws safely and efficiently using proper techniques.</li>
<li>Label, store, and transport blood and other lab specimens correctly.</li>
<li>Follow strict protocols for hygiene, PPE use, and sharps disposal.</li>
<li>Ensure phlebotomy tools and lab equipment are clean and functioning properly.</li>
<li>Address alerts on the dashboard and promptly communicate with patients as needed.</li>
<li>Demonstrate exceptional phone communication skills, conveying empathy and professionalism in all patient interactions.</li>
