What to Expect?
The Warehouse Associate supports the team and our customers by accurately and safely receiving/pulling orders in a fast-paced environment.
On a daily basis our Warehouse Associate:<ul><li>
Accurately pulls, fills, packs and sets up orders for delivery or pickup.</li><li>
Assists in loading the delivery truck.</li><li>
Receives shipments, logs into inventory, maintains inventory through audits.</li><li>
Communicates positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers and customers to coordinate deliveries/pick-up.</li><li>
Operates a forklift safely and efficiently, maintains required certification, performs vehicle safety checks and reports discrepancies to supervisor.</li><li>
Assists in keeping facility clean, neat, safe and operating efficiently.</li><li>
Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
What You Will Need:<ul><li>
High school diploma or GED.</li><li>
Ability to maneuver heavy objects, some weighing up to 100 pounds.</li><li>
Prior forklift experience.</li><li>
Follow and carry out instructions with minimal supervision.</li><li>
Prior experience in distribution, general labor or warehousing preferred.</li><li>

What to Expect?
The Operations Manager directs and coordinates activities involved with procuring products for sales and distribution.
On a daily basis our Operations Manager:<ul><li>
Hires, trains, directs and manages all warehouse staff, which may include warehouse associates, drivers or other positions based in the warehouse.</li><li>
Reviews open sales orders, open purchase orders, open vendor claims, and open transfers.</li><li>
Reviews warehouse procedures and ensures proper warehouse safety procedures are followed.</li><li>
Consults with regional buyers and/or vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.</li><li>
Manages inventory, controls stock outs and reduces excessive inventory.</li><li>
Performs cycle counts to prevent inventory shrink.</li><li>
Manages freight expense and approves invoices/freight bills for payment.</li><li>
Manages Accounts Payable discrepancies in a timely manner.</li><li>
Supervises the proper routing, loading and preparing of orders for shipment and delivery in accordance with customer instructions.</li><li>
Trains new employees on warehouse and distribution procedures.</li><li>
Discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with inspection or quality control personnel, users, vendors, and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action.</li><li>
Supports sales staff in meeting sales objectives.</li><li>
Other non-essential job duties may be assigned.</li></ul>
What You Will Need:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred.</li><li>
3-5 years of operations experience in industrial distribution or warehouse environment.</li><li>
Operations responsibility for $5-10 Million wholesale warehouse type facility.</li><li>
Experience managing a team of 5+ employees.</li><li>
Computer skills including MS Office and Inventory Management software.</li><li>
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.</li><li>
Knowledge of industrial product lines such as pool and spa equipment, chemicals, construction materials, plumbing supplies, electrical supplies, HVAC supplies, auto parts, irrigation supplies, or similar industrial tangible goods helpful.</li><li>

What to Expect? 
Hazmat Drivers make safe, complete, accurate and on-time deliveries to customers while complying with Department of Transportation (DOT) and other applicable regulations. 
 
On a daily basis our drivers:<ul><li>
Make deliveries using the most effective route to ensure orders are delivered on time.</li><li>
Load and unload the vehicle, ensuring that all products are properly secured, and hazardous material is separated appropriately.</li><li>
Pull orders onto the truck for deliveries and offload at the stops</li><li>
Collect payments and accurately document delivery.</li><li>
Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR)).</li><li>
Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and inform supervisor of any maintenance needed.</li><li>
Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and presentable on a daily basis.</li><li>
Increase job and product knowledge on an ongoing basis.</li><li>
Perform other duties as assigned.</li><li>
Working in warehouse when not on deliveries which will be 50% of the time.</li></ul>
To drive for POOLCORP you need:<ul><li>
To be at least 21 years old.</li><li>
A valid commercial driver's license, with HAZMAT endorsement.</li><li>
A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) indicating no more than 2 combined violations or at fault accidents in the past 3 years.</li><li>
The ability to maneuver heavy objects that can weigh up to 100 pounds.</li><li>
Excellent customer service skills.</li><li>
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.</li><li>
To carry out instructions with minimal supervision.</li><li>
Familiarity with PCs and other material handling equipment (preferred).</li><li>
Moffett, Skelly or Air Brake experience a plus!</li></ul>

The Job:
