 The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for selling POOLCORP&rsquo;s value proposition to our customers across all segments including pool builders, service providers, and retailers. The Business Development Representative plays a key role in customer retention, generating revenue, and driving sales growth for POOLCORP.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 On a Daily Basis Our Business Development Representative
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Develops a strategy to increase sales and profits within the assigned territory for different customer segments including key, opportunity, new, and existing customers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prospects and generates leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and online research; follows up on qualified sales leads.
 </li>
 <li>
 Travels within designated territory delivering best-in-class sales presentations and product demonstrations that meet the customers&rsquo; needs and proactively provides solutions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Negotiates terms, closes sales, and handles post-sale support, including addressing customer concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinates sales efforts with corporate marketing initiatives and incentives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Attends industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand the customer base and stay informed on market trends.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintains all customer records in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, completing reports and call records in a timely fashion.

 Stays current on competitor activities, market conditions, and industry trends through ongoing research and analysis.

 What You Will Need
 
 
 <ul>

 At least 2 years&rsquo; experience in professional-level business-to-business sales.
 </li>
 <li>
 A proven track record of successful sales in a wholesale distribution environment.
 </li>

 Ability to build trust and long-term relationships.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of industry products and distribution processes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Self-motivation and ability to work independently.

 Ample knowledge of one or more of these product lines: pool related equipment, plumbing supplies, tile, decking, exterior lighting, patio furniture, construction materials, building supplies, chemicals, landscaping / irrigation supplies, HVAC supplies or similar tangible goods.

 Proficiency with Microsoft CE or other CRM and the entire Microsoft Suite (e.g., Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel).

 Familiarity with Prelude or similar inventory management software is preferred.

 A valid driver&rsquo;s license, a satisfactory driving record &ndash; no more than 2 violations within 3 years &ndash; and willing to travel regularly within a designated area.

 Occasional ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds in the Sales Center or on Customer site.

What to Expect?
The Inside Sales Associate works with customers to find what they want, create solutions and ensure a smooth sales process. 
On a daily basis our Inside Sales Associate:<ul><li>
Establishes relationships with customers by assisting walk-in and phone customers, representing the company in a professional manner.</li><li>
Processes, pulls and distributes customer products quickly and efficiently.</li><li>
Handles questions and complaints in a timely and professional manner.</li><li>
Accurately performs data entry of sales orders to generate an invoice of products ordered to be picked up or delivered. Secures payment of invoice with proper funds or obtain credit authorization in accordance with company policy.</li><li>
Evaluates and determines disposition of warranty items handled at the counter, as prescribed by the manufacturer's warranty policy and customer needs.</li><li>
Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of vendor&rsquo;s production and delivery schedules.</li><li>
Assists in receiving, shipping, and general warehouse duties.</li></ul>
What You Will Need:<ul><li>
High school diploma or GED.</li><li>
1+ years related inside sales experience preferred.</li><li>
The ability to move 100 pounds with a dolly.</li><li>

What to Expect? 
Hazmat Drivers make safe, complete, accurate and on-time deliveries to customers while complying with Department of Transportation (DOT) and other applicable regulations. 
 
On a daily basis our drivers:<ul><li>
Make deliveries using the most effective route to ensure orders are delivered on time.</li><li>
Load and unload the vehicle, ensuring that all products are properly secured, and hazardous material is separated appropriately.</li><li>
Pull orders onto the truck for deliveries and offload at the stops</li><li>
Collect payments and accurately document delivery.</li><li>
Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR)).</li><li>
Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and inform supervisor of any maintenance needed.</li><li>
Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and presentable on a daily basis.</li><li>
Increase job and product knowledge on an ongoing basis.</li><li>
Perform other duties as assigned.</li><li>
Working in warehouse when not on deliveries which will be 50% of the time.</li></ul>
To drive for POOLCORP you need:<ul><li>

A valid commercial driver's license, with HAZMAT endorsement.</li><li>

The Job:
