Job SummaryThe Transport Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day transport operations, ensuring smooth coordination of employee transportation, vehicle deployment, driver management, route planning, compliance, and timely issue resolution. The role requires strong coordination skills, quick decision-making, and the ability to handle operational challenges in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities1. Daily Transport Operations<ul><li>Monitor daily transport activities for pickups and drops as per shift schedules.</li><li>Deploy vehicles according to manpower requirements.</li><li>Coordinate with drivers, vendors, and supervisors to ensure on-time movement.</li></ul>2. Vehicle &amp; Driver Management<ul><li>Maintain vehicle rosters, route plans, and trip sheets.</li><li>Ensure all drivers follow company rules, safety standards, and trip protocols.</li><li>Track driver attendance, shift timings, and behavior issues.</li></ul>3. Route Planning &amp; Optimization<ul><li>Plan efficient routes for cost optimization.</li><li>Ensure alternate routes during traffic, diversions, or emergency situations.</li><li>Manage last-minute changes like address updates or vehicle swaps.</li></ul>4. Safety &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Ensure all vehicles meet compliance requirements (RC, insurance, PUC, fitness).</li><li>Monitor vehicle hygiene, GPS tracking, and safety guidelines.</li><li>Conduct periodic audits for vehicles and drivers.</li></ul>5. Vendor &amp; Client Coordination<ul><li>Coordinate with transport vendors for vehicle availability and escalations.</li><li>Communicate regularly with clients/end-users to resolve issues.</li><li>Maintain strong relationships with site managers and operations teams.</li></ul>6. Issue Handling &amp; Escalation<ul><li>Address transport-related issues promptly (delays, breakdowns, mismatch, no-shows).</li><li>Provide timely updates to management and client stakeholders.</li><li>Maintain incident reports and follow corrective actions.</li></ul>7. Reporting &amp; Documentation<ul><li>Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly transport reports.</li><li>Track trip data, fuel usage, extra kilometers, and attendance.</li><li>Maintain documentation related to compliance, audits, and billing support.</li></ul>Skills &amp; QualificationsRequired Skills<ul><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Knowledge of local routes and traffic conditions</li><li>Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Basic MS Excel, MIS reporting, and email communication</li><li>Problem-solving and decision-making skills</li><li>Team coordination and vendor management</li></ul>Education &amp; Experience<ul><li>Graduate / Diploma (preferred)</li><li>1&ndash;5 years of experience in transport operations / logistics / fleet management</li><li>Experience in corporate employee transportation is an added advantage</li></ul>Key Competencies<ul><li>Time management</li><li>Leadership and team handling</li><li>Customer service orientation</li><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Ability to work in night/rotational shifts (if required)</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;12,686.14 - &#8377;18,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
